    I'm looking for a place that knows old air cooled Porsche's. I have a 76 914 that just needs some new vacuum lines. The old ones are brittle and breaking. Any recommendations on a place to work on 914's in Chicago, preferably north side? Also looking to sell it after this if anyone is interested.

    Not on the north side of the city but I have never trusted my Porsches to anyone other than Tim Kautz at Euroquipe in St. Charles. Family has been going to him since late 70's or early 80's.

    I was just there a couple hours ago talking with Tim after they took care of me with some quick service on my 911. Going to Euroquipe is like going to a buddy's house to work on your car versus dropping your car off and hoping for the best. I've been going there since I bought my car in 2010 and have yet to have a bad experience.
