I am selling my 1983 308 GTS after having it for 11 years. Exterior is Marrone (champagne brown) and interior is Tobacco. It has 31000 miles on it. Fantastic shape, all original except the radio. Last tune up was at 30,000 miles for just over $5000.00. Everything works EXCEPT the AC, which was not working when I purchased it. This is truly a collectors item, as I have never seen another 308 in this color combination. I have all books and records. The previous owner was a long time FerrariChat member who owned multiple 308's and has volunteered to speak with serious buyers about his experience with this car. I have always kept it in the garage, and have always treated it the way I should be treated. It is not a garage queen. It was driven regularly during spring, summer and fall and stored with a battery tender during the winter. It has some road rash on the nose, and some patina (not much) on the drivers bolster. I treated the leather regularly with Leatherique. I recently had knee replacement and getting in and out has become somewhat difficult. I can be reached at [email protected] or by phone at 609-971-0026. Asking price is $84,500.00

$85k will seem cheap in a few years. Good quality, lower mileage 308's are commanding a premium. Go take a look at some of the garbage out there for $55k.

Cool car and best of luck to the OP. Get as much for it as you possibly can and apologize to no one.

I said I can't comprehend the market.... 5 years ago this would have been a $25-30k car.
    I. Not dogging it.... I'm saying its a ridiculous appreciation curve.....

If anyone is serious about this car you can send me a message. I owned that car for many years back in early 2000s. It is a great car and it was not a $30K 5 years ago. It was a $35K car well over a decade ago. It is a very nice and tight 308. I owned 20 308s and this was by far the nicest one I ever owned. Most 308s are driven hard and put away wet esp years back. This isn't one of them. It was always well cared for by enthusiasts. Anyway just thought I would share.
A/C worked for a while when I owned the car but had a small leak and I stopped topping it off bc even when working the 308s a/c doesn't do a lot. Compressor and clutch assembly worked fine back then. R12 was getting hard to come by too.

Aww the memories of that car. Was great to see pics of it again.
