GS seems to be a common request, but I simply cannot get on with the contrasting callipers but then each to their own.

    Interesting to see full leather.

So muscular looking. I love it! That last picture almost makes the car look like it's matte paint.

Cannot quite tell if it is argento or matte aluminium, but I think it is the latter.

Grigio Ferro is a great color but for sure it's not the more "punchy" for sure.

Did you consider Grigio Scuro ? it's a very special color. It took me time to appreciate it.

This, to me, looks amazing, but I think it is the matte aluminium.

Not crazy about G Scuro and yet to grow on me. Still Tailor Made next week so interesting to see if there is anything there which I haven't seen.

This pic is an excellent example, for my eyes, as to why yellow callipers just dont work, especially on a red car. They just jump out at you and all you can see is the brakes as your eye gets so distracted.

That's exactly what Camlet said the factory told him when he ordered his GTO.

I remain an fan of yellow calipers except on a red car.

A Grigio GTO/F12/F12tdf with black wheels and yellow calipers is one of my favorite combo.

But it seems that argument convinced my subconscious since now I simply prefer Black calipers.

I find that it can look pretty good on the blues and greys. Anything else it sticks out too much.

Definitely. And exacerbated by black wheels.

I read over the weekend the latest edition of Octane comprising their delightful "Miura At 50" tribute. The piece captures the wonderfully evocative and emotional memories of Balboni, Dallara, Stanzani and Gandini.

Gandini is quoted as saying "when I designed the Miura the car was in the public eye and immediately loved because of its aggressive yet sweet shape". The key word for me is "shape". The impact the whole makes the instant one sees it.

With modern cars and regulatory complexity it must be extremely difficult for designers to nail "shape". That's why adding visual elements which don't easily integrate with the whole is puzzling to me. And to think Gandini was given 20 days to finish his Miura design once he'd seen a 1:1 model of the chassis. Makes my dithering over nailing a spec very embarrassing lol.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I really love that. RC, black wheels (hopefully not glossy), and yellow calipers...

Perhaps I need to acquire some taste :D.

My F12 is F1 2007 Championship red, with glossy black wheels and yellow calipers and while it may not be a classy combination, I love it :0 But I guess if I was to change anything, I'd try black callipers, just to see how it looks.

And yet both are a staple of the Ferrari catalogue from the early days:). I guess both Enzo and Ray Kroc understood how to get attention.
