In person i can find 2-3 angles that don't fully satisfy my on the FF. Only one so I find to be "ugly". On the GTC I could not find one yet that I really do not like. It's a much better package overall. . Many small changes have made a big difference. Inside I find the reverse, launch, auto control center to be a bit odd but that's my biggest complaint. The car is absolutely beautiful in person.
In case you guys want to know if Ferrari reads this website..... The quote above was used on the big screen as the last thing said before presenting the car. They said they found. It on FChat and could not have said any more.
Agreed - I personally was very disappointed by the release photos, but very impressed with the car in person. Was resolved NOT to buy the Lusso before tonight, but changed my mind I think...
I agree. Before tonight I was keeping the FF for a bit more. After seeing the GTC in person my response was "when will it be delivered?" My favorite new view is the front wheel area with the vents. Very very nice addition.
I was amazed how sheet metal sculpting turned the FF into a different car. The photos don't show how big a change the facelift represents. With the improved torque curve and supposed attention paid to cabin exhaust sound perception, I expect drivability will dramatically improve as well.
Was really surprised to see this on the big screen. It wasn't a trivial mention. Almost seemed out of place given the carefully orchestrated event and marketing... "And to sum up our entire presentation, here is a quote from Ferrarichat.com..."
Amazing how different this exact car looked in person as compared to the photos! (It looks awkward in this shot imho, but actually tremendous in the flesh)
I would very much second that. As I read the post, I did think 'I wish I'd written that', concise and to the point. Great compliment that Ferrari picked it up. Incidentally was the launch colour G F again?
It looks a lot more ff-ish in the real life pics than in the fake pics. It looks the ff went to the gym for the last 5 years, put on muscle on its hips, sides and bonnet and got plastic surgery surgery on its rear. I'm looking forward to seeing proper uncrowned pics and in different colours.
Yes Titanio will suit this car very well. I'm debating between that (like my FF) and something a bit darker.
yes. It's been neat to watch the unveiling from afar but seemingly from the inside through the eyes of fellow Fchatters.
If someone sends me an email address I'd be happy to send them a video to post. I have just my Phone so am somewhat limited
