Great colour! Really works well on the 612.
Nice cars Amit one of my favourite colours
I'm in the market for a 599. Does anyone know the major differences throughout the years? I have found several sites that quote faster 0-60 times in the later model GTB compared to the 07-09. They quote like 3.3 on the 10 - 12 compared to 3.6 for the earlier ones. They refer to the GTO as posting 3.1. I didn't know the GTB had any significant upgrade to get it into the 3.3 range. Does this make sense? What years should I be looking for? Thx.

Joe Seems that your 599 is lowered. Do you know how and how much ? Special springs, screwed down with original springs, ......? Daniel
It is lowered on stock springs. It's roughly 4"/100mm vertically from the top of the wheel (not the tire) to the bottom the quarter panel front and rear. Slightly more in the rear, slightly less in the front. Unsure exactly what the stock ride height is.
Of course! Aesthetically, I think it's a perfect ride height. Curious what the stock comparison is. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I will measure it the next days. But i have 20" rims at the front, so we have to calculate the difference. Yes, it's the perfect height, looks great and is exact the same that i want. Daniel Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The 20" rims and tires and the 19" rims and tires have just about the same diameter (26.72" vs 26.75"), so that does not affect what you want to measure. Ride height is actually measured from chassis members or suspension pieces fixed to the chassis normally. Everything else varies too much depending on alignment and shock height settings.
Joe Mine is front = 115 mm from top of the rim to the fender rear = 145 mm from top of the rim to the fender But my 20" front rim is larger. It the ratio from the nominal rim diameter to the largest diameter at the rim flange is the same at 19" and 20" rims, then this could be the direction. 19" = 482,6 mm 20" = 508 mm So i have to add 12,7 mm (0,5") to my measurement. front = 128 mm from top of the rim to the fender rear = 145 mm from top of the rim to the fender I know that this is not exact, but for me it's an indication where i have to go. Terry, Joe took the measurement at the rim, not at the tyre. Daniel
Daniel- That makes a difference, but has little relationship to actual ride height. Too many variables.
