Two pictures that I have posted in another thread this morning:

The original factory label on two late 1980s tool rolls:

127589, the correct 328 too roll...
not to be confused with 127736, the testarossa tool roll (for testarossas before 75997 RHD / 75998 US / 76004 LHD)

(127589, the 328 one includes the 14mm combination wrench with spark plug tool for 12mm plugs, and therefore a pocket for the spark plug tool at right of the pliers; whereas 127736 does not include any spark plug tool, so no pocket at the right of the pliers and no 14mm combination wrench, but a 14/15 mm standard open mouthed wrench; superseeded later by another tool roll with a pocket for a spark plug tool, but the USAG one, and still no combination wrench)

Good work there! Nice jack kit with all bits. Correct emergency light. The green "rotor" bulb holder cap there right? Still missing the difficult to find screwdrivers and 6/7 and 10/11 Everest wrenches. Good luck, patience will pay off.

    Try these:

Edit: oops the second one is a 12/13 instead of the titled 10/11.

The bulb holder cap is dark brown not green. The 6/7 wrench is on it's way I will only be missing the 10/11.

Should be green with or without rotor lettering (I guess, and only guess, that "rotor" type shows up in Euro cars mostly and the one without shows up in US cars)... Barry has one for sale now for a reasonable price I think.

Piezo, Thanks for the suggestion. It got me to thinking, I searched my Facom tool box and indeed found the missing 6 - 7 wrench that I used to work on a 330GTC I used to own, mixed in with the Facom tool kit. The more I think about it, the kit was probably from a 85 308 I sold a very long time ago.
Is the wrench design with the size recessed in a circle a clue to years used?
Thanks for your help, time to relist them again for sale! Glenn

Ohh yes, that's the wrench type with "Ferrari" lettering and a circle surrounding the size number. Several kits identified with 7 of these wrenches plus the 14/14mm combination wrench branded "Utema". It looks like that you have the Utema as well!! So the blue pliers are what you need in that case. This kit is reported by 84/85 308 owners.

See posts #289 and #290 for samples :)

I got this kit from Italy reportedly from a late 85 QV. It has the vinyl texture similar to some 328 kits with "Fiocchi" snaps, dark red screwdriver set, "Ferrari" + "Chrome Vanadium" + parallelograms wrenches including the 14/14mm combination wrench similar to the Utema style, T type window crank, Kravm red moulded handle black headed pliers and 14/21mm spark plug tool.

Interesting...and it is the same wrench design indeed. I hate to add that I have doubt about the pliers: the black lettering is, I believe, a 1990's thing. Late production 308QVs and 328 rolls usually have white lettered pliers...

In fact, it seems that these were used randomly (as Brian Crall told us once) right up until the end of the 328 production. I stole this picture about a year ago on the internet from a sales advertising for a 1989 swiss 328; I can't vouch that it is the original fuse box from said car, however...note the "blade" fuses typical of the 328, on their special "add on" cradle.

I want to pass on a "BIG THANK YOU" to Steven and Alberto. Without your advise and help, I would have never known what was suppose to be in my 1981 308 GTSi tool kit. I am now able to sleep again.
    Regards,
    William

That's the way it came from the factory.

That does not surprise me at all, Markus; remember that some of the last carbed cars were produced, or assembled, when the full production of the "i" was already in force.
Alberto and Martin know that you actually find a few parts from the "i", such as the steering wheel, in the last carbed cars; so a carb tool in a "i" tool roll does not surprise me at all.

OK, I didn't know, that that overlap also was about the parts of a tool kit.

Like this one? You need that piece to hold the blade fuses.

Absolutely. But in some bulb boxes that I have seen, the blade fuses were simply pushed between the foam and the side of the box...

or the cigarette lighter. But talking about the steering wheel. Though it was the same Nardi wheel with the slots, it was still silver as opposed to black of the i-cars.
Or am I wrong in thinking, that the i-cars had black steering wheels and dash panels from the beginning?

    Best Regards
    Martin

Well I'm really not sure about this. If you look around, you will see lots of TR mondial 348 and 355 with this shaped pliers either with Ferrari or Kravm lettering (probably both made by Kravm, think about copy right issue) and most of them are white. The black lettering ones are very rare. Probably like the direction of the Ferrari inscription on the brown handle screwdrivers for 328? May be but not sure.
