Did either of these beautiful Al GT4's enter the Cavallino Classic? Any pictures??

 

Yes, 5 of the Euro GT4's were at Cavallino. Two of the cars took Platinum Awards ( 97 points or greater, there was no lower point awards ) with our GT4 12752 being awarded La Coppa per Otto Cilindri for the finest 8-cylinder Ferrari at the Cavallino 25 concorso. My husband and I thrilled to say the least. I will post more pics soon, yeah!

Sounds reasonable. I've never seen it on a LHD car.

 

Standard on series two US spec cars I believe.

 

Gee vizz, the Viz is still there...I have to say that I was slightly worried, not reading much from you in the F1 section these days. Just in time for the date we both share with Tom Selleck, in two days from now (albeit not the same years).

Just looked at the photo of the 308 gt4, it reminds me of Richard Coltons although his was rhd and was one
If not the last of the model in the UK that he purchased.
I remember when we (wife and I) were at Prescott Hill Climb he persuaded my wife to try it out!
She was hooked on the car so pestered me to get one! That was 36 years ago and she still has it.

We were invited as guests by Richard to attend race weekend at Prescott. As you may be aware his
company SteelKings were sponsors of Roy Lane, but that was along time ago.

Sadly Richard is no longer with us but the RNLI did fantastically well by him. What do you think.

My wife and I are American, but have been to England many times, mostly for Revival. One trip we were visiting a prominent bulldog breeder near Cheltenham but soon got lost on the way back to our cottage. As we rounded a bend, what appeared but.....Prescott Hillclimb Course! It was near closing time, but the friendly caretaker invited us to drive our hire car up the course. He didn't have to ask twice! Then the even friendlier attendant at the Bugatti Trust gave us the run of the place until near dark, and time for us to find our way back. What a day, one that I shall never forget.

 

Wow that one is amazing- I've never seen the black rear quarter panel protector before (behind the rear wheels)?

 

I've only seen it in body color. Part of the P7 package I assume.

First time I have ever seen this bit.

 

Toward the end of production Pirelli P7s were available on sixteen inch rims with modifications to the wheel wells and fenders. Those so equipped came with this window sticker.

I just posted my RHD Yellow/Black 1977 308GT4 in Hemmings. I'm not sure if the price is right but she is excellent. I would appreciate it if someone would look at the ad and let me know if I am too high or low.
