Looking for a correct set for my 308 restoration project. 16" X 7" fronts and 8" rears. Excellent condition or in need of refurbishing is fine. Quick cash buyer. Thanks! Jason [email protected]

Is it just the year you care about, and you've got a later set of 16's to trade, or are you upgrading from 14? Could make a difference with some members.

Hello. I don't think they offered 16" wheels back in 1978. I could be wrong, but I thought they first appeared on the QV

Still looking for a set of 16" magnesium wheels for my 79 308 GTS restoration. From excellent to needing reconditioned; any condition considered. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Jason

Wow. I have been loitering here for 10+ years and this is the first time I have heard about them. :):)

Wow! Interesting. I always assumed they'd first appeared on the QV.

If the date stamps on the back are that critical, then I predict you will be searching a long......long....very long..........time.

    GLWS!

I can live with any dates. Just want correct magnesium 16x7's and 8's. I'm going to have a meaningful investment in this car as CAROBU is doing a mild restoration and full mechanical upgrades. So, I'd love to have the correct optional wheels for the period.

    Jason,

You answered a PM, we sent you an email with pics of the complete set, we are waiting for your reply. Perfectly happy to keep them and put them on our own '79 GTS instead.
