16" 1978-79 date stamped 308 Magnesium Wheels

Is it just the year you care about, and you've got a later set of 16's to trade, or are you upgrading from 14? Could make a difference with some members.

Yes, they offered 16" magnesium wheels in Europe in 1978. My 308 GTS 25125 (Sep 78) had them.

If the date stamps on the back are that critical, then I predict you will be searching a long......long....very long..........time.

I can live with any dates. Just want correct magnesium 16x7's and 8's. I'm going to have a meaningful investment in this car as CAROBU is doing a mild restoration and full mechanical upgrades. So, I'd love to have the correct optional wheels for the period.
