Didn't have US plates. Just had custom euro tags, front and back.

 

Today at around noon a grey 430 in pineville getting on it pretty hard

 

Light blue FIAT 124 Spider at a private airport in Manning, SC.

Saturday afternoon, a silver 458 on I-485 near Providence Road in Charlotte.

 

Had some interesting sightings in Charlotte this time. Not a lot of the usual exotics (Bentleys, Maseratis, etc) but some that I had not seen in years.

Saturday, Jan 16th, in Charlotte:

Black Ferrari FF at Phillips Place shortly before 2:00. First FF I've seen in nearly three years, and I suspect it was the same one a couple of you guys have seen around the Ballantyne area. Had a SC plate.
Silver Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster on Fairview Rd at about 2:00. Saw it later in general parking at the Southpark Mall outside of Belks.
Black Aston Martin V8 Vantage on Morrison Blvd at about 2:40.
Silver Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG turning into the Southpark Mall at about 2:45. First SLS AMG I have seen in over two years.

Monday, Jan 18th, in Columbia, SC:

Black (or maybe dark blue) Bentley Arnage flew past me on I-20 outside of Columbia at about 3:15.

Same day in Charlotte......

Light yellow Jaguar E-Type Roadster with a fixed roof on southbound I-77 near the southern I-485 interchange at about 5:30. First E-Type I've seen in about a year and a half.
Burnt orange Aston Martin Rapide S on Old Pineville Rd at Tyvola Rd at about 5:40. Was sitting in traffic on Tyvola at South Blvd and happened to catch a glimpse of it flash past in my rearview mirror. First Rapide S I have ever seen.
Silver Acura NSX at an inspection center on South Blvd in South End at about 5:45. Don't know what it was doing there, because it had a dealer plate on it and was idling in the corner of the lot with no one in sight.
New Aston Martin DB9 in matte grey with black wheels on Tryon St at Trade St in uptown at about 5:50.

I was running through Piper Glen (South Charlotte) early this morning , I could have sworn I saw either a Ferrari Daytona or GTC pass by from behind.

 

There is a GTC over there. I've seen it a couple of times.

Friday morning a 328GTS over by FCI.

 

Yellow NSX running around Ballantyne yesterday. Definitely had aftermarket exhaust on it.

 

Wow! A GTC? And to think I was in South Charlotte on Saturday morning...

 

We were doing an 10 to 18-mile training run through Piper Glen / Raintree that morning. If your not familiar with this community, they have hills that would qualify as small mountains. Very tough.

We were cresting over one of the hills, when I heard the unmistakeable sound of a high-performance carbureted engine, as the car was climbing the hill we just finished.

I'm estimating the time around 7:45 AM or so.

This should give you impetus to exercise early, to catch some of the exotic cars sneaking out for a quick run whilst traffic is low.

 

I am quickly figuring that out after what I saw on Saturday morning

Saturday, Jan 30th, in Charlotte:

Silver Lamborghini Diablo Roadster heading towards I-77 on East Blvd at South Blvd at about 9:40. I was sitting in the left turn lane on South Blvd when it drove through, and unfortunately was not able to react in time to get a picture. But a Diablo! I had never seen one before outside of Motori Italiani, and I had actually never seen a pre-2004 Lamborghini on the road except for a 350 GT I supposedly saw when I was very young.
Black Ferrari FF on Sharon Rd at Morrison Blvd at about 12:20. Same one I saw two weeks ago at Phillips Place.
Grey Audi R8 V10 at a mobile car wash in the corner of one of the parking lots of the mall facing Morrison Blvd at about 12:30. One of the loudest cars I have ever heard. Was taking a couple pics of it when Panthers DT Kawaan Short drove past in his Tahoe.
Grey Audi R8 V10 Spyder behind Dean & Deluca at Phillips Place at 2:10 or so. Nice owner, car had the gated manual.
Grey Aston Martin V8 Vantage at the Circle K gas station at Sharon and Fairview at 2:15. Same one I had seen a couple months ago at the Marathon across the street.
Matte grey SRT Viper GTS in the Southpark Mall valet at about 2:20. First SRT Viper I have seen in Charlotte, and man did it look menacing in matte grey against black wheels and orange calipers.
Blacked out Audi R8 outside of By Design Furniture Charlotte in South End at about 3:10. There was a white Nissan GT-R next to it. Both had SC plates.

Bentleys, Jaguars, Maseratis, Porsches, etc all running around as well on Saturday and Monday (when I was in Mid Town).

 

This morning in Apex NC turning into Beaver Creek @ 10AM, black Lambo Gallardo, tinted windows, black wheels...sounded good!

 

Just now (literally) a GTR (possibly nizmo) in brier creek.

 

I miami and super cars galore. Bentlys 458, 308, 430, ff, California, California t, Maserati s, gallardo spiders coupes, aventedores too many to count, roles royce and it did not stop all night in miami beach.

 

Returning home last night to CLT airport a red 458 parked in the Business Valet.

 

Today at about 4:00 I saw the grey Porsche 997 GT3 that I've seen numerous times around Cary. It was on Tryon Rd at Regency Pkwy. Hope I get a chance to see some stuff this weekend in Charlotte, as it's been pretty lackluster here in Raleigh this year so far.

Saw a white Alfa 4C in Southpark yesterday afternoon.

 

My mom comes home from the dentist and says, "I saw a nice car at the dentist office. I think it was a Porsche." I ask her, "Did you take a photo?" She says, "Yes, but I don't know how to find it on my phone" I said, "Let me take a look." I pull up the photos on her phone and find that she didn't photograph a Porsche, but a Ferrari California (see photo below)! I am just glad she thought it was nice enough to get a photo.

Unfortunately I very rarely ever make it farther north than Wade Ave when I'm in Raleigh, so unless she does her errands/shopping around there, I likely won't catch sight of it.

Charlotte was a little slow...

On Sat, Feb 20th, saw a Campagna T-Rex followed by a Polaris Slingshot at Senator Royale and Mallard Creek Ch Rd at 12:45 or so (just outside of Trader Joe's). Both were grey. Granted, neither was extremely exotic, but it was interesting seeing a T-Rex and a Slingshot together.

On Sun, Feb 21st, saw two Aston Martin V8 Vantages (one coupe, one Roadster), a Bentley Arnage with California plates, and a couple of Maseratis during that evening in Southpark. Very slow for South Charlotte, although the weather wasn't great.

 

Yesterday saw a dark grey MP4-12C in Cornelius, and an Aston Vantage.

 

Does anyone know anything about the yellow Aventador SV that showed up to C&C FCI/Scott Jaguar earlier this month? I didn't see any available SVs on LC's site so I was wondering if it was new to the Charlotte area.

 

Saturday- Red Ferrari F430 and Ferrari Dino.
Sunday- Red Ferrari 360 Spyder
