To answer your questions, the house is mortgaged, but he is worth 30 million. Wouldn't you pay off your mortgage? Oh that's right, he doesn't own it, Maria does. Wait til taxes find out. The car is leased. He doesn't have the collection he is showing on Instagram. This clown screwed over his own family. What does that say about him, he worships the mighty dollar!!! This **** doesn't care about his students, family or friends. This is the devil himself. And trust us, his jaw is not broken, he couldn't spit **** from his mouth if it was broken. This was a warning, next time he won't be as lucky. You can't run forever.

I had a conversation with some people in his circle.. They also believe something is funny with the whole situation, implying he staged it.

I see your point. My implication that you feel more important than you actually are is juvenile. Although compared to the guy who says "Obviously you don't know who I am" on a forum to other peeps who have no clue who he is... well, you win the inappropriate remark contest. By a wide berth!

phil82 I must say you're flopping around like a fresh caught carp. At first it was impossible Reza faked his abduction because he wouldn't want the publicity. Then you say he is hard to understand and could possibly have scheduled the interview for the air time. Now you admit it is possible (what any reasonable observer knows to be true) that he in fact staged the abduction.

Are you and 488Spider on the same team? There is another guy all over the map. His 6th or 7th post was the classic "goodbye cruel f-chat world" only to return in force with vengeance. He claimed to have friends losing $600k and a couple houses to oceansplat. He claimed he better not say anything more since he feared for his and his families safety.

Yet here he is still going on and on with the same nonsense and also stating the make-believe Reza "detainment" was in fact real. He claims that Reza has a broken jaw when there is no evidence of that whatsoever outside of Reza saying it. That alone means it never happened.

488S you list off his alleged house and cars as if he actually owns that stuff in order to lend credence to his skills as scam artist. However, none of it is real. He owns nothing.

Phil82 / 488S ... what is the deal? Why are you guys spewing so much bs? Reza is garbage. A low life scum bag criminal. A real ******bag of the highest order. We get that! Understood!

What motivation could there possibly be to go on pretending he was actually kidnapped? I don't get it.

Can't we all just get along?

Other than a few fan boys, no one here seems all that supportive of Reza. Let's break out the popcorn and watch what the news and police dig up on him (besides Reza's incredible ability to walk and talk in spite of all the claimed fractures and dislocations).

Regarding statements that no one would dump large amounts of money into an unknown brokerage, I'm sad to report that I see it happen all the time. Worse, CTM was licensed and had a sort-of regulation.

The drawback is that it's very easy to walk away from NZ "regulation". I haven't ever fully determined what percent of CTM's exit from NZ was walking away vs. formally being ejected, but the end result was the same. There was no regulator readily available for clients who could not get access to money which was sitting in their accounts. US clients could complain to the CFTC and Canadian clients had a few choices. A lot of clients elsewhere didn't have any option at all.

Of course peeps lose massive amounts of dough to scams and shady brokers with bogus funds quite frequently. Got it!

My point is that Reza has never been polished enough to have taken any one singular individual for the amount that is being thrown around here. No way!

FPA Bill how do these things work? Do the peeps that got burned just sue for the amount they deposited and truly lost? <or> Are they entitled to whatever "earnings" they made while "trading" with their "broker"?

Kiesan, most of the time, you sue for the amount you deposited plus profits. But most traders don't sue and give up. So brokers play the waiting game. They are entitled to earnings but CTM B booked close to all his clients. Hoping they would lose all their money to CTM. But Reza made some mistakes on some traders and lost a lot of money, so he did stop hunting and everything else he could think of to gain it back.

I see 5 and 6 figure amounts being stolen by brokers with terrible reputations. A new broker under what looks like a decent regulator can extract some very high amounts by offering good trading terms.

Recovery of only the deposit is the most common thing which happens. A scam broker knows that most people will give up after a few months. By only paying the deposit back to the persistent clients and sometimes paying the full amount only to the most persistent ones, the company can steal a lot of money.

Often the scam broker will make up stories about the client "cheating" the broker. There really are a few ways to do this, but in the bulk of the cases I've seen, the broker didn't want to provide any evidence to back up the claim. If there's a good regulator to appeal to, profits can be recovered - but only by clients who have the time and patience to go through a lengthy dispute process.

In my communications with Reza, he'd frequently go from "I'm sending all the client's money next week" to "The client cheated and I don't owe anything." and sometimes would then agree to refund the deposit.

There was also a case where Reza kept claiming he's paid all that he owed to a client and the client had really only been given back 1/2 of the money. In that case, any profits or losses were only a small fraction of the total amount not paid.

I know. I have a feeling this dude from Seattle is probably Reza, or one of Rezas clowns. Nobody in there right minds defends this guy!

Like I keep saying, hes had all of these nice high end things for a number of years.. HOW DID HE GET THEM? From trading forex??? NO! From rippping people off of large sums of $! You claim 'but he doenst own any of them' SO WHAT??? HE still has them! Are things like that easy to get or something? Can anyone just go get a 3 million dollar home, over a million in cars & hold them for 3,4,5 years? You still need large sums of $ to leave down payments & pay a mortage/lease on things like that over the years he had them.. So shut up! You are so ignorant! Do you know the monthly cost of a house like that and all those cars? He had them for years as well... Someone had to pay the bills! Where did the $ come from? Let me know.. you seem to avoid that question!

    Thanks!
...and whether the idiot had a broken jaw or not doesn't matter...it looked like he did, and if he didn't, it doenst really matter because he got his ass kicked either way..Nobody sets something up, draws so much UNWANTED attention to him and gets beat up that badly... That's what people do when you steal large sums of $ from people.
    Karma is a *****.

It's so simple, yet people here like to make things complicated...

Guy screws over many people over a few years, lives a life of luxury off other peoples expense,.... FINALLY someone gets pissed off and gives the guy a beating for what he did (screwing people over).. That's all there is to it. People want there $ back.

Now, since the spotlight is all over this clown things will get blown wide open and hopefully he is scolded with the full extent of the law.
    done and done.

and for the record I have not lost any $ to Reza and i'am not a victim...Just a guy that wants to see him get what he deserves for hurting innocent people and ruining lives.

Seattle guy - Please, explain how you think things went.. I would love to hear since you pretty much defend Reza... so tell us what happened... 'Reza is a good trader, made a lot of $ from trades, leased a few nice cars, helped people learn how to trade, was a nice guy, helped more people, then faked his own kidnapping to draw attention to Mentortips so it can blow up and get noticed even more...... LOL... I dont know what is going through your head dude, but I would love to hear your rendition of things..... please, enlighten us inspector gadget!

That's the classic 'little lie, big lie' at work. if you find little lies within a story ('there were 10 guys'...'there were 7 guys ') you often find there is a bigger lie here.

He says in his periscope he played soccer went home, and is on his way to hospital a couple hrs later because he busted his foot while playing earlier. He lives at Lakeshore and South down road area so he would go to Mississauga hospital at Queensway and hwy 10, about 5kms away . No other hospital is within 10kms of that. Credit valley, etobicoke...all too far. None of these hospitals are anywhere near Matheson and Kennedy, keep in mind.

He says he played soccer,' busted his left foot'...then in the video he changes it to his 'right toe' then fluffs over it. That's weird. Maybe a language barrier. Maybe he's dyslexic.

He told police and the media he was coming out of the soccer place after playing soccer and then your standard Hollywood kidnapping scene happened (bag over head, group of masked assailants, shoved in a van). Too perfect. But not at all in line with his story. Unless he played soccer the next night and the broken foot periscope was the previous night? But who plays soccer for a couple of hrs with a broken foot? Nobody. So clearly he has painted himself into a corner with that broken foot video. Wither the broken foot story was a lie, or the 'I got kidnapped while coming out of soccer' was a lie. That's a pretty big lie.

Those are facts and those don't add up. We can speculate aboit how far a sociopath would go for attention all night.

But he is lying. Publicly, and on record.

    Clearly two possible scenarios exist

    1. he was either nabbed by guys who he owes money to. This is less plausible because why would they take his $100,000 used car only to dump it somewhere...why not just leave it where it was if they just wanted to rough him up? Or why not shift it, parted out?

    2. He made this all up for a few reasons including getting out of the seminar date and most notaby to curry sympathy and perhaps publicity . I don't even think he could have dreamed it would go this well.

I found it particularly telling that the egomaniac says '10 guys with guns and knives' were the assailants. Big van if so lol. But this shows his ego. It's not like one guy with a gun could take him. In his fantasy world, it takes 10 guys. And multiple weapons. His injuries seem consistent with someone who got punched 4 times. Two in the gut, two in the face. Who kidnaps someone for ransom, and then releases them 15 hrs layer after punching them only 4 times? That makes zero sense. Your skin would be ground beef after a night long beating.

I really think he made it all up.

FYI your links are busted. He has been deleting videos it seems. Upload it to photobucket if you have a copy.

Yes they do. Frequently. Especially a sociopath. And he wasn't beaten up all that badly. Look closer. One or two punches with an mma glove in the face, and 2 good ones bare knuckle to the gut.

In the movies, maybe. But orchestrating a kid appoint and besting because someone stole a few hundred grand from you is ridiculously complicated and potentially could destroy the life of the orchestrator if they're caught. If it's 4 people (or 10 lol) hired to do the job, that's 4-10 loose ends, one of whom will talk eventually. You know how hard it is to gather a team to commit forcible confinement, aggravated battery etc? It's hard. When you're looking at 3-10 years in prison if caught it's not like on TV. Losing money sucks. Going to prison as the principle conspirator in a kidnapping? That's life ruining.

The problem you're having (well.. One of the problems) is that you're trying to suggest Reza acts rationally and thoughtfully. He doesn't. He's a sociopath. He's a compulsive liar. He's a career criminal. He's a fraud.

here is how my negotiating went with Reza...

    1) I'm going to sue you. ***I told him to bring it on.

    2) I'm going to bring my millions of followers against you. ***umm, the poll results indicate his "millions".

    3) I'm going to post embarrassing information when found about you. ***luckily I have never done anything embarrassing, so knew he was full of ****.

    4) My followers and "my family" are out of control, they are stalking your house and will beat you up. ***I'm not scared, I'm their Huckleberry.

    5) He then called my local cops telling them I needed to be protected from him (his followers and "family").

I heard he went through exact same method of operation at FPA.

Had busted ribs once, bruised ribs twice. the LAST thing you'd be doing is playing with your kid or giving a long interview.

If he had either, each inhale would be accompanied by a wince, groan, or other complaint.

Can't talk about a broken jaw, never had one.

I am currently in Mentortips, or was until I read through this thread. I can personally attest that Mentortips is not what he says it is, and also what he claims comes with it on his website. I can't believe what he has done to people, also I can't believe I was naive enough to buy into his product.

Drat. Foiled again! You've got me dead to rights 488Spider. There will be no escape this time, so I may as well come clean.

Since 2003 I've been operating the Seattle division of OceanSky/West covertly under the ruse of a used motorcycle/scooter sales operation. Amazon, Microsoft, Starbucks, Boeing... etc... those were all just distractions in order to cloud the picture. In that way his worship my Lord Reza could lay the footholds and sew the seeds in order to establish his supreme authority as World # 1 mentor, forex trader and instagram celebrity.

Everything was going to plan. Sure there were a few hiccups along the way, but hey, this is world domination we're talking about. Rome wasn't built in a day you know. The goal was in sight, until...

... the news reports from 3 days ago hit the presses. Evidently even the King himself has a skeleton or 2 in his closet. A bad deal years ago with a Sri Lankan gang lord has come back to haunt him it would seem. The gang sent 10 of their most heinous and vicious henchmen to do a dance on Lord Reza's face, jaw, eyes, midsection, lower extremities, ribs, etc. Not even our Lord with his extensive greco roman wrestling skills and superior calisthenic abilities (he plays soccer regularly) could avoid severe physical punishment and serious injury.

And thus concludes the comedy section of today's program.

What a stupid story I submitted. However, not even remotely as stupid as anyone believing Reza was kidnapped.

Guys please stay on topic. The goal here is to educate others about reza and his scam. The more we can help spread the word, the more people we can save from losing their hard earned money.

I am glad the media and the news are all saying 'Alleged victim' or 'claims'. It is only a matter of time as everyone says before everyone finds out the truth about reza mokhtarian.

No body here is a fool to believe that someone would kidnap you for 15 hours only to give you two black eyes and a few bruises. Especially if they were big guys! I mean even I would get hungry if I didn't have anything to eat after 6 hours, but who knows maybe they took turns watching him :)
