Beautiful 550, I like your seats and those aftermarket wheels as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ready for an early morning back country roads breakfast run today with a ZR-1, GT 350R, Z0-6 and a Shelby GT500. Fun. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Clyde, Thanks.......I bought her real cheap...no accidents just neglected and high mileage. Have completely gone thru the car....didn't drive it much the first year of ownership. Had lots of help with numerous gremlins from chatters...shout out to Cribbj, tazandjan, and fatbillybob. Their posts proved invaluable. The wheels are Novitec NF2's but I am working hard to get 575 modulars......negotiating (unsuccessfully) with a fellow Fchatter. Todd
Todd You are so lucky to have got her, and cheap too! Yes I bought my MSW Steering ECU from Cribbj, and Tazandjan has not only provided invaluable information but was kind enough to mail me a bunch of metric screws for my remote that lost the screw. I have had some exchanges with fatbillybob here but not in depth. The Novitecs NF2's are really nice you should keep them even if you manage to get a set of Modulars. I have a set of 18" Barchetta rims on my 575M which I will keep but would like to get a set of 19" rims, especially for when I take her to the track. For now just ordered a full set of FHP springs and an HGTC rear anti-roll bar with bushings that I am waiting to show up. Then I'll deal with the other projects later. I just wish mine was a 3 pedal like yours but I kinda got used to the F1 now. I was actually thinking of trading up from a 575M to a 599 for a while but have put that thought on the back burner for the time being. Clyde Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Out and about in the 550 a lot lately. It goes for a detailing this week so I'm dirtying it up a little. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for helping me avert a decision that I would have regretted for a very long time Seth. Clyde Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's stunning Bastuna, I've always loved that dark grey charcoal like colour on the 550/575. What's the name of that finish? Clyde Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks, Clyde. It's Grigio titanio. The interior is a full charcoal spec'd specially by the first owner. It's really stunning in real life.
Clyde, happy, that you are happy with your decision to stay with your Maranello ☺! Vitor, nice to see some pictures again of your exceptional 456. Looking forward to see some more during the spring/summer here in Europe. Saluti, Jürgen
Thank you Jürgen. One thing I've noticed about the 550/575 is it is very difficult to capture the beauty of the car with a camera. if only seen in two dimensions, they look a little ordinary or pedestrian. In real life they are hard to take your eyes off. Really graceful and classic.
