    Anyone? Preferably in Matt Grigio Corsa, not the forged. My experience is that the configurator (both dealer and online) show the wheels much darker than they are in person.

    See my thread above. The wheels are silver however as I was worried the Matt would be too dark. However they look good in person.

    Thanks guys. I've seen a couple of these photos online as well and to me, they just don't look as dark as the configurator looks. My order is in with the standard wheel - but I'm trying to decide if I should have dealer switch the wheel to the forged (I have to act quick). Am I crazy to go with the standard wheel? They had 2 488's, one in white but with gloss black wheels and another with the diamond wheel - a friend has one too and his wheels are gloss black - incidentally they were all the twin spoke Forged wheel. Saw the standard wheel at Daytona but it was silver, not Grigio.

    Another thing I noticed - these are Euro-spec cars so the cars are lower (and don't have the reflectors on the fenders) - these two minor changes make the standard wheels look much more aggressive.

    My dealer talked me out of the stock rims, but I think you really can't go wrong with any. Not like the old stock 458 rims.

    I am with you 100% - the standard 458 wheel was ugly. My 458 had the forged and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Still really like that wheel - I feel like the standard 488 wheel looks similar to that and the Speciale wheel.

    I had the forged diamond on my 458. I actually prefer the stock wheel for the 488. The stock seats are also pretty nice in the 488 although I couldn't resist the CF race seats. I'd rec the stock wheels and if you want to do something different get some HRE. Shocking that a dealer would tell you what wheel to get!?! I guess they make a profit on options too but you should always get what you like. One thing you should remember is there are certain options that are prohibitively expensive or hard to change (LED and CF race seats) but most other things can be changed after delivery pretty easily- wheels are the easiest.

    It's a 488 in the picture but the base wheel for the 458 is still up on the wall behind the car...

    There was 4 pounds difference between the weight of a standard 458 wheel and the optional 5 spoke 458 wheel. The standard 488 wheel seems more popular this time but Ferrari has never stated the weight difference between that wheel and their optional twin spoke design wheel.
    Anyone know the weight difference between the two 488 wheel designs?

    Sorry to clarify since I picked white the diamond 488 rims provided better contrast for me...a little extra pop

    Read the headline again. The OP is looking for pictures of a 488 in white with standard Grigio Corsa wheels, not a 458. I believe the pic I posted is EXACTLY that.

    If you get the standard, standard wheel (not painted chrome,) it is a silver dull coarse/satin finish? Does anyone have?

    which do we think would look better against a white car the "chrome or just the standard wheel? "Chrome" must be a more more shinny than the just the "painted" forged wheel, correct? The standard wheel is a straight silver but almost a matte finish from what I can see.
