No a problem Tim. The more I see the TDF with a stripe the more I dislike it. Stripe-less is the way to go!
+1 and I suspect they will charge you a second time for the stripe. Just received by final tally for the car and one classic. Standard is black alcantara and that includes the rear wall and rear shelf. However, if you use a second colour in the interior then apparently the rear wall and rear shelf now become 'colour upon request' - how is that possible?
Haha. Quite possibly, I'm in the wrong business! That said, the model they made of my 599 GTO spec was a remarkable facsimile of the real thing.
Latest exterior renders of my car. I have to see and sign off the blue and the rear shot includes my awful handy work; the factory had the stripe completely down the back but it wasn't the plan. Now adjusted and will be re-submitted. Wish delivery was tomorrow, no date yet. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not really sold on the stripe idea and where to end the stripe is tricky to. Is the stripe a 'must have' feature for the overall tdF effect you are trying to achieve? Every time I see a border-less stripe I am reminded of this blue/yellow F12> The hood (the part that covers the motori) is already rather busy with sculpting and the vents on top of that so maybe a border-less stripe is the way to go... Was not sure of the stripe, but that looks great. I hear first RHD car delivered anytime now. Mine should hit the line next week
That's brilliant. The interior and daytonas suit perfectly. The rear cut off on the boot for the stripe is perfect. Does the stripe get thinner as it goes down the hood?
The tdf has the perfect bonnet architecture for the stripe especially if it starts getting thinner towards the bottom of the hood. It doesn't have the big air vent to deal with. That stripe looks like someone got a paint roller after it was finished without giving much regard to the way the contours flow of the standard f12.
