For Sale: Set of 4 Speedline 18" Magnesium wheels for the F355 Challenge. Set in great condition with only minor signs of use. Some light marks but no real rash or nicks. Happy to send higher resolution photos. These are an extra set and NOT the set from my yellow car... but they are similar. If you plan to put these on a street car, you may want to consider refinishing but they are in pretty clean shape. We have several sets so have decided to let these go. Price - $4,100 I will pay for shipping fedex ground to the buyer in the US. So don't miss them. Robb [email protected] Image Unavailable, Please Login
Let's get these sold. Price lowered to $ 3,995 shipped. These, like the F355 aren't depreciating... Don't miss them. Robb
If no one is stepping up I may just buy them for a spare set These are becoming rare and greatly improve the cars handling
Tim, I'm just impatient this year for some reason. All the rare wheels are up: the modulars for the v12's, the 512TR wheels, and others... Robb
My impatience is someone's benefit. Final price $ 3,895 shipped or I'll just keep hoarding them forever... Robb
I don't get it. Everybody complains they can't find Challenge wheels to buy and when a good set becomes available, nobody buys them.
Ok, I'll take a stab at it. I'd like a set of Challenge wheels too, just not at the prices being asked recently. My "complaint" isn't availability, it's price. Several set per year pop up on FChat and have done so for years so availability isn't an issue if one is patient. I also realize that most recent sets sold for $4500 and $4000 on FChat last year. But perhaps the buyers willing to pay ~$4k or more have already come and gone - or haven't yet seen the ad? As much as I'd like a set, it's just not worth it to me. I'd want the wheels to be white, which would require that they be repainted at $600-$800 for the set (though current color/condition probably suits someone else just fine). Add that to the ask and I'd be in for $4500-$4700, which exceeds my reservation price. In fairness to Robb, $3900 shipped really is a good price compared to recent sales. But I think too many people remember when these sets were $2000-$2500 a few years ago - though times have changed. So I plan to wait and see if prices come back down a bit and others might feel similarly. If prices do come down, great. If they don't, then I can do without as I'd rather put the cash towards something else. To Robb, not meaning to hijack, just answering an implied question in the thread. The wheels likely will sell at your ask if you just hang on for another week or two.
If he puts them on ebay they will be gone asap Price on these will only go up not down. just not that many sets to be had. I would buy them but I have many spare sets myself. They are light and the single best way to improve your cars handling. I run these on all 4 of my cars. Nothing comes close for best performance. He is doing a big bonus for us offering them here
Too bad our dollar sucks. These would run me a little over $6k Canadian before getting them refinished. Will stick with the heavy Hamman's for now
