I just wanted to reach out to the group and share my experience regarding the Engine Out Service I just had performed on my 1995 355 Berlinetta. I have always loved this car, but after all the work that was performed, I couldn't believe how much better it became. It all started wit the timing for a complete engine out service. the car has 25,000 miles on it and the time was now. I had been reading some review regarding some upgrades with a Capristo Exhaust and some Fabspeed Components.

I saw some very nice things regarding Yellow Compass who is a dealer for both and gave them a call. I spoke to Mike Berman, who was extremely knowledgeable on the parts, but also found him with a vast knowledge of 355's in general. He gave me some great insight into the upgrades, how they would perform and enhance the drivability of the car. He even offered to let me drive his 355, since we are from the same area, which had the upgrades done on them. after a long conversation, we agreed on a Capristo Sound 3 Racing Exhaust, Fabspeed Headers, 200 Cell Catalytic Converters, Bypass Pipe and CO2 Extenders. I will tell you, he made the order process seamless and easy. All the parts arrived within the timeframe we discussed and without a hick up. I would recommend a conversation with Mike from Yellow Compass regarding any upgrades on your Ferrari along with his knowledge of values of cars and ability to find beautiful product. His website is : Yellow Compass Group ? Options For Drivers.

The next conversation was with Brian Bush, the Service Manager at Ferrari of Central Jersey. Brian is a great guy that is always looking to find ways to make the customer feel good and willing to assist them in any way he can. He is one of the most personable guys I have ever met in the automotive service business. We agreed on them taking on the project and he was more than happy to let me stop by during the work to see the progress and take photos of the work. Enzo, their Senior Technician is also as amazing as the name might predict. He looks out for your best interest, only wants to the work on things that actually need to be done and give you a real comfort level with his ability and experience. We discussed doing everything that it needed once the engine was out, which included the full engine out service with Hill Tensioner Bearings, a new clutch, all new hoses, new cv boots and engine/trans mounts, along with a host of other items. I wanted to make this the best driving car I could and spare no expense getting it there. The two of them make an amazing team and I would highly recommend using this dealership and these guys for any work you need done if you are somewhat local to the NJ market.

With all that said, I just received my car back, WOW, it is amazing!! It feels like a different car in so many positive ways, I can't even list them. I have attached some pictures of the car and the work that was performed. I hope everyone enjoys!!

Certainly did enjoy that, thanks :)
I do like the black with the standard silver wheels, classy.
Quick edit to ask a question about your red hose's that connect your plenum to your air flow meters. Are they flexible enough? I mean with the two air boxes fixed and the Sid ward movement of the engine and all. That's why standard hoses are concertina types made to move with the side wards motion of the engine. Won't there be some streets point on either the airflows or plenum throat? Or has your ENZO guy got expereance using this method?

Glad you enjoyed. I like the black also, thanks. As far as the hoses, they are a Fabspeed item. I spoke to Mike from Yellow Compass along with Enzo before I ordered them and both of them felt that they were a better solution than the stock ones and that the hoses had enough flex to them and would actually hold up better.. Them seem to have a bit of flex to them and the fit was perfect along with a good look to them.

    Great, thank you :)
Yes I only like the black with the silver wheels, really don't like them with black wheels and windows, makes them look to ricer to me. Yours though, perfect.
