The graphics on the red car are terrible. Many cars on offer but few gems, the results will be interesting.

I want to share a picture from 1976.

Here's the very last 914-6 VIN #914643001 that was special built for a "special factory" worker.

I'm wondering if anyone can identify those two (either late 1975 or early 1976) 930's.

    Enjoy.

So I see one 930 and probably a 3.0 Carrera in the background.

What's really cool is that 914-6 Not a four converted into a six.

Serial number 914-643-001 is the only 914-6 of its kind in the world. Hopefully someone here will know where this car and the 930 is. Does anyone feel this is the first 930? It seems that this was the last 914 ever built, and it was a very special car with a 2.7 liter motor.

Sounds like a very special 914.

The '75 Turbo looks like it has Pirelli P7s so probably not a very early '75 that may have left the factory in late-1974.

Yes it does! Jamie - one constructive criticism: the window trim on the driver side window looks to be gloss paint? Could be the photos, but very important to get that trim correct.

Believe me, I have been over the trim time and time again with the restoration guy and a host of others. It's no easy shake to get the trim right. I also dug into 3 of my other cars and looked at the trim on all those cars (specifically looking at parts of the trim that never saw light) and the trim on other cars has a shine. I also looked at period pics and that trim had gloss. Bottom line, I am not sure it is a correct thought process to believe the trim was flat or low gloss. From what I researched and found, it has sheen to it. While I haven't yet seen it in person, it is one part that has me on the edge of my seat. Worse case is when I get the car back, I have it locally pulled off and re-done again. We will see. Good eye Chris!

It has some sheen to it but should not be high gloss. I'll send you a guy that should be able to get it right.

    Jamie,

Looks fantastic, that color is killer, but I agree with Chris trim looks a little too shiny.

Emerald green metallic is viper green. If the door frames are correctly anodized there should be very little sheen to them. And not to be critical, but the car should have amber rear lenses being a ROW car. Very nice car, congrats.

I had my 77 930 refurbished and decided to power paint the trim rather than black anodized. It turned out great (my opinion) not gloss not flat and it will not turn purple as did the original anodized trim. But not technically correct either.

Joe, what's the latest on the blue 77? Last I remember there was some movement on the car.

Not so great for most colors. No problem with that original aging patina on a purple 930.

Voitureltd935 - Well after purple it then goes very light which in my opinion just looks worn and not "sharp" patina is fine but worn just looks shabby.
