He says in 2 places it is an 85. The VIN puts it at late Nov or early Dec 85. Think someone is really going to that much trouble to scam someone out of $700?
Yep. Like I said earlier, mine is next off the line, 55057, Dec 84 (not 85, but I know what you meant) build.
Top line in the ad: "1980 Ferrari 308" Then I noticed the VIN. NOW, I see the "rest of the story.". Thanx. But, YES, I have seen scams for less. Much less. But this no longer appears to be one of them. Just a 'fat-fingering' of the keyboard.

Strange that it just vanished suddenly and eBay erased all the bid history in the completed listings section. Seems to me that it was in the $800 range with 20+ bidders just after the BAT article yesterday.
Actually it's worth quite a bit if the wrecked gt4 can be considered art maybe we can do something "creative" with this mess. All we need is one sucker... er patron with enough money.
