I noticed that its almost impossible to find a manual F430 now. Prices for true 6 speed actualy increased compared to a year ago. What happened? Is it because the 458 don't have a manual gearbox?

    :)

Late model Ferraris with 3-pedal manual transmission have taken off. It all ignited with the $600k 3-pedal 599 auction result at Amelia, early 2015. That lit the market, affecting 599, 612, 575, 430, 550, and also 360 to some extent. Only 3-pedal models, though, not F1. Though specialty F1 transmission models like the 430 Scuderia and 360 Challenge Stradale have also seen healthy appreciation.

Yes. 12,400 views and counting on that thread. It will most likely answer any questions you may have.

Yup, three pedal 575M just sold for $420K plus fees at Amelia Island. If 3 pedals were optional, prices are going up.

It will be hard to keep my 07 spider if the price goes over $300K.

I feel like there is a lot of speculation/flip purchases happening too because of that 599, and then the 3 pedal California that sold for a high price as well along with other high price 3 pedal sales. I'm sure given some time and things will simmer down. Just my two cents.

I'm with you here. I'm spending quite a bit of money on mine now to get it mechanically and cosmetically sound. I haven't driven it much the last few years and now that we have our 458 I'm finally getting it spruced up.

It will be difficult to keep it if prices get that high.
