Finally got cold and snowed and she's covered in ice! - speechless at what limit this car has on snow-covered sub zero degree roads Nothing like a nice warm-up on a cold winter's day
Rubaga, I think you win the dirtiest FF for 2015 with this pic. You basically turned a deep blue car into greyish white. I am trying to figure out how I can top that for this year. Haha. Image Unavailable, Please Login
You guys are my hero's! I'm a driver on both road and track. Getting caught in the weather never bothers me. But I think I would have a hard time purposely letting the elements wreak havoc on my Ferrari, when there are lots of er...... slightly more 'cost effective' ways to brave the weather, so to speak. And being from Arizona, I'm not sure what all that white stuff is in those pictures! This is about as bad as it gets around these parts! Have fun and be safe...... Image Unavailable, Please Login
If I'd only known this thread existed, I'd have taken a picture of the utterly littered black (or was it Grigio Silverstone? ... hard to tell the car was so dirty) FF parked in front of a restaurant in a small coastal San Diego town about 10 days ago. I caught sight of it but didn't get a chance to study the car before entering a store. It was gone when I came back out, and I overheard a guy at the next door market proclaim to his friends that, "that's the kind of dirty Ferrari you see from some young guy who didn't have to earn it." Oh well, I can't really comment on his point of view, but I can say the car was every bit as dirty as Rubaga's. Absent photographic evidence to support my claim, however, I give the nod to Rubaga. Congratulations, mate!
I suppose the FF has liberated Ferrari owners who previously were a bit nervous of getting 'down and dirty' with their steeds. Had mine new since last May and already covered 12,000 miles mostly UK to Italy and Germany. It is always amusing to see the faces of admirers trying to work out who in the world would do that to a Ferrari? Best ever Ferrari I have owned.........best ever car.
Ultimately a Ferrari is a car, and a very well made one at that. That's the liberating part. The "dirty FF" takes the piss out of the whole enterprise of Fcars, which may scare people who want to make it an art piece ... it's a car. Drive it !! Enzo didn't make sculptures to look at and trade.
Drove from Vail back to Denver in a blizzard just over a week ago. Driving this car in the snow is an absolute blast. Love black because it hides the dirt so well! Also posting pics of my best bud. He's a 140LB Black Russian Terrier. If you're looking for a good protection dog it's a breed worth checking out. That's a bloody big terrier!!! Must look them up! Awesome pics of the car (sideways because taken with iphone at a guess. The apple system for identifying image rotation is non-standard and hence will appear correct on some screens but not all).
Not my car unfortunately... Judging by the license plate it looks like a factory demonstrator. Gr. Martin
Just drive the FF in 0 F. I can report it works! Will post dirty FF pic later. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
