It is a little bizarre. Most look really out of place. This one they did a good job on the landscaping. Also decent job inside.

Found a great place in West Vancouver. The house isn't great, the property is possibly one of the best pieces for sale in the lower mainland. O.k. its also a little overpriced.

It's amazing how expensive real estate is in other parts of the country compared to here.

I drive by the one in Dallas a lot. It's hard to tell from the outside that it's a White House replica and it doesn't look out of place at all. It's located on one of the nicest streets in Dallas. It's a few houses down from Ross Perot. I know Owen Wilsons parents lived a few houses down but not sure if they still do.

Just Google "Strait Lane Dallas" and look at some of those houses

Meant the others I've seen look out of place. Not that one. I actually like it.

Is this the one thats owned by the time-share "guru"? If so, it was for sale for a long time. I thought it was karma working well because I don't hold a very polite view of the time-share scheme; and that's putting it mildly.

Yep, same guy. Timeshares are only good for the developer and actual owner of the property. Its the penny stock of real estate.

He tapped into a market and made big money. He didn't force anybody to buy anything. The house is gawd awful either way.

I agree, don't blame him for doing it. The problem with big houses is over a certain size its hard to make them look good.

Yes, he's the timeshare guy. That is a gated neighborhood with already many other lakefront mansions (Lake Butler Sound). I saw his house a block away in between two mansions' side yards and it was massive. The picture I posted does no justice on the actual size. It's massive.

His ex wife's house is on the same road as the entrance to his neighborhood. I like her house way more. It's part of the Isleworth neighborhood where pro athletes live. Shaq's house is between the two of theirs.
