For ****s sake do we have to have another season of people *****ing and moaning?

Go watch paint dry then and play with yourself.

Just stating facts. If that bothers you....tough. Dont post in my thread.

Figured id watch qualifying, new year and all. Unfortunately it was the same joke weve been subjected to the last 3 years. Merc about a second faster, they will win 18+ races. Another hamilton wdc. Yaaaawn. Cars look stupid and sound even worse. New qualifying format is ridiculously stupid. I honestly laughed when it was about over and the drivers all got out of their cars despite there being a bunch of time left.

If you didn't like whiskey - Would you go to a bar and drink whiskey all night?

If you no longer like F1, stop watching it! - It's not rocket science!

I just finished watching qualifying on my DVR. Wow is all I have to say, and certainly not in a good way.

I am always hoping for an improvement in competitiveness, but holy crap, who the heck is ultimately responsible for signing off on this new qualifying format? Epic fail.

At this point in time, the sport is well overdue for a major overhaul. I have been following the sport for almost 30 years now, and have to say there is a dire need to return to a much simpler format. They just keep making it more and more complicated unnecessarily. This qualifying format needs to go, this hybrid BS needs to go, the tire regulations need to go, etc. Heck, I'd even ban wings to force the cars to rely much more on mechanical grip.

The sport is so very much going in the wrong direction.

No, I employ a butler to read the posts to Me and then I dictate to him the response that I would like to have posted! - Is that not the normal method on Ferrarichat?

So I assume you're off then and leaving F1 to those of us who still get some enjoyment out of Formula One?

So you're pre-assessing an entire F1 season based on a single f:censored:ked up qualifying session?

Guys - We haven't even had a single race yet! - Do you not think you might be jumping the gun slightly by declaring the 2016 season to be **** before the cars have even formed up on the first grid of the season?

Not sure what you've been watching, but the Mercs have a clear 1s advantage per lap, at minimum, over their nearest rival who tried to edge closer on a 2nd set of fresh supersofts. Merc nailed it on 1 set and would only be that much quicker if they went onto a 2nd set of fresh tires.

Merc still 1 & 2 irregardless of old or f'd up new qualy system. wonk wonk.

Worst part of all this madness is that we no longer have Maldonado to laugh at.

    Sparse times, indeed.

Give Haryanto some time, I think he's the indonesian equivalent. 1st race hasn't even started yet and he's botched the car at least 4 times already.

Hoping the race will be better than the fiasco that was qualifying, would not take much. Thr new formula since 2014 has taken almost all of the fun out of Formula 1, after following it seriously since 1974, I am about done with it. Watched some old races on DVD from the early 2000s during the winter break, it is sad to see how far F1 has fallen.
