As I have mentioned I will soon be in the market for the perfect 360 stick/ F1 430. It appears none have cruise control, possibly none of the Ferrari line up.
Yea, it's a Ferrari but I tell you one of the things that really helps on long trips is cruise. It' is so relaxing to put the speedo +2 or 3 and not worry about one eye in mirror ( that is what gets so tiring) I want to do 1000 mile plus trips, not worried about 3-4 hr trips, it's the 10-15hr trips.
Has anyone retro fit or is cruise available for a 430?

i imagine its less difficult than the other technical thread you posted a while ago
Doable, but its super electronics intensive.

Really easy on 550 maranello. Search that forum. I have one of 3 or 4 MSW cruise control units.

I've achieved it on my 360 and wouldn't be without it! I do a lot of touring in Europe and it makes motorway driving much less stressful.

Did you do the install yourself or have a dealership or shop do the work?

Also, could you share photos of what your car looks like with it?

    Interesting technical thread starting here.
FWIT cruise control to me is something you fit to a daily driver to make the journey pass faster/easier. In a ferrari driving involvement is everything, not something to hand to the electronics

I installed it. Marranello Skunkworks made 4 to order and I installed 2 of them. One drove from cali to toronto in the snow and it worked flawlessly.

Let's not start this guys. Some people like to use their performance cars for more than just day trips, track days, and back roads blasts.

That's great to hear. I'm assuming that the same kit couldn't be utilized on a 430 though because the 550 used a mechanical throttle while 430 is electronic.

    Can someone confirm this?

I'd love to have cruise control in my scud. There are times I'm on the highway and would like to maintain a certain speed to avoid getting a ticket. It can be tricky with a car that can easily achieve much higher speeds and a speedo that is not really easy to read.

I agree. Not that I intend to do it very often, but I recently did a 13 hour round trip to Road Atlanta to have a weekend of fun. I didn't need or want it once I got there, but sure would have liked to have cruise control for the 500 mile stretch of I-75.
