Need help finding race history on our 355 challenge car

Hi lads. I'm trying to find some history on our black challenge 355 number ZFFPR41JPN0104196. I know one of you guys mentioned that it raced in the Japanese series in 1996 but I'd like to get some documentation to prove this or even some pictures. The car is on the verge of being sold but the buyer needs some sort of a paper trail. We only have the service sheets for the last 3 services done in Japan which is common as they're not as big on service log books as we are here. I really need some help here please. We have a good offer on the car of 130,000 euro so to push the sale through some sort of a record would be great

unless i can find some information on the car there will be no sale. I know one of the guys here posted the name of the guy who had it in the japanese challenge series. I need to know how to get this info in writing or even where to look.

 

The potential buyer should kiss your *** at that kind of price, even without papers...

 

we have service papers up to current mileage and back to last three services, but trying to find the book and race history is proving difficult, somebody here mentioned it was raced by a japanese driver so he obviously has information, i would hope he will share where he got his info

 

If the buyer wanted the car for rational reasons, he wouldn't be giving you this ultimatum.

 

I'm not worried about him to be honest but for the next interested person it would be nice to tell them the history with some paperwork to back it up

My car is well known, but its previous owner contacted David Seibert, who organized the North American Ferrari Challenge Series, and asked him to prepare a historical monograph for the car. Perhaps you can contact his counterpart in Japan for your car's Challenge records.
