Looking for some comps to get a better idea of the value of a 1995 red on tan manual. Can't seem to find many other than the blue one at CNC. Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated. Thx!

FYI, all the US and rest of world 95s were 6 speeds. The GTA did not come out until CY 96 as a MY 97 in the US. There were only 640 6 speed 456s built, out of a total of 1271. Pretty rare. The 456M had similar numbers (668 out of 1328).

Prices have been all over the place, but rising steadily, especially on 6 speeds.

So 2599 456s were made in total? That is not much!! Should be a collectors item for sure.

What we talk about is often how many were made of each model. What I think is alot more interesting is how many that are actually left... When looking around on the net, it seems like there are a much higher percentage of accidents on Ferraris than normal cars based on their production volume. However, there are very few Ferraris being scrapped if they don't have had a major accident. So the interesting is to know (very hard to find out) how many are left of each model... And how many which are scrapped/dismanteled for parts. I would not be surpriced if the remaining amount is as low as 60-75% of the total production. As late as last fall, the new owner of the 456M GT I had five years ago totalled the car on his way home from the guy he bought it from... For my country's population of 456s, 2 out of 10 cars are crashed and not being repaired.

I agree I have asked the guys at Eurospares UK about the number of 456s scrapped but have not been given an answer. Wither the number of engines and other spares on the second hand market I recon 5% have been Parted out. Anyone have a better guess.

Perfection and love the color!! Any thoughts on a price range for a 95 Red on Tan with 60k miles with all service just completed?

    Thanks!

No real idea. Prices seem to range from $60K to $120K for the one at CNC Motors. Quite a range! Mine has low mileage and I plan to own it for a while.

Fchatters chime in here, but I would think if a clean Rosso Corsa over beige 6-speed came up for sale with under 40K miles, all required services (including recent belt service), decent tires, no sticky interior parts, no significantly warped interior leather, no history of damage, typical upgrades like 575M motor mounts, silicon hoses, etc., it would sell very quickly at $85K. With patience, and the time & mental fortitude to sort out real buyers from fakes, maybe a good deal more. Dealers seem to be the ones buying at market and then advertising them at MUCH higher prices. (Someone please correct me if I'm off base.) The one in my garage just ticked over 40K miles last week. It's metallic green and well-sorted out with Capristo exhaust and custom wheels, but it was repainted once. I need to start thinking about new tires too for both the MHK 20" wheels and the original stock 17" ones, so I tend to think closer to $65k, but that's just a guess at a rhetorical question considering, "it ain't fer sale."

Gorgeous colour mate! It's such a shame your US cars have to have those crappy reflectors in the bumpers.

    Interesting, thanks!

Just amazing......seems as though there is a serious lack of supply coupled with an equally serious lack of demand.

Not a whole lot of 456M GTs out there with 7600 miles on them, so this one probably deserves to be an outlier.

That was the Competitzione version though, wasn't it? Quite rare.
