    searched and in almost every case there's an F1 warning light. Mine didn't have any.

    This happened occasionally while driving as well as if stationary with engine off and change gear sequentially from 1-6.

    There's no TCU code, There's no F1 warning lamp on. It just beeps if you change gear and no gear was changed. Pressure is well above 40 bar in SD2. When this happens, just wait for a few seconds it will go back to normal.

    Would somebody point to some directions to look for?

    Assuming you've checked trunk and rear lids being closed? That sounds like the symptoms I had when the rear lid wasn't registering as closed due to the switch

    Agreed. And even if they're closed a faulty switch could still be responsible.

    wear = 33.7% i.e. 66.3% remaining

    rotaryrocket and Mike, yes, I thought of that, but shouldn't the car go to N if the switch is the fault? the car was just stuck in that gear and won't go to anywhere until I push level again a few seconds later.

    Yeah, I'd think it would. I should have read your post more carefully, if it happens while driving it shouldn't be the switch, unless you've got an intermittent issue. I'm at a bit of loss on where to point you too. Does the clutch check through the SD2 measure actual or just computer generated...for some reason I thought I recalled reading it could be wrong? You ch died th fluid level for the F1 system right? Could a low fluid level cause that, slow responsiveness? I'm sticking around for the answer on this...keep us posted!

    indeed the clutch thickness is in question, it is a computer generated 66% , even if it is accurate isn't too good of a clutch anyways. Not to mention the car had an unknown history. who knows what was done when new clutch was put in.

    Fluid was all right, pressure all right. No other symptoms like slow responsiveness except f1 warning light came on just occassionaly, WHILE driving, WHILE changing gears.

    What I would do if it weren't an engine latch switch, clutch wear or brake light switch.. I'd check the sensor connections and ensure they're in good shape. If there is resistance in the connector that might confuse the system. I'm surprised it's not registering with the SD2.

    Is it possible you have a split in ahose. A small split could introduce air. Wipe lines good and mak sure no split also i would bleed again. As others have said if its something more the sd should pick it up.

    Check the brake bulbs. They're tied to the F1 system.

    Certainly for EU cars, the TCU throws an error (with a dash warning) if the rear lights are disconnected. I cannot recall the exact code but can replicate it and find out if needed.

    The switch has a second set of contacts that sends a signal to the TCU. The bulbs and related wiring have zero to do with the transmission operation.

    You dispense a great deal of advice with no understanding of the system.
