It really depends on what you mean by "often".

If you dont go through a full tank in about 2 months, I would. I store all my cars 5-6 months every year. I've used stabil every year for 15+ years during those storage periods and never had a problem. Do I have scientific proof that without it I would have NOT had problems..no. All I know is I've used it and had no problems so thats good enough for me to keep using it. In fact I have a 94 lotus esprit that has had the same fuel in it since june 2014 and travel less than 100 miles since. Thus the car still has stabil in it from 6/2014 and starts very quickly every time I move it around the garage.

I use Marine Stabil in my 430 that I drive about 300 miles a year and also used it in my former 355.
I use straight gas in my boat but I also add Marine Stabil.
They all start right up after sitting for several months. Just like Meister, I've never had a problem using it so it's good enough for me too.

I don't drive it often during the summer, but as long as I drive it enough to get a bit of fresh gas in the tank, I don't worry about it. I always use it for winter storage though.

I have a few cars that I store for he winter. I use stabil in them and my boat with good results. Long ago, when I started this crazy hobby, I had a Porsche that I stored for the winter. The first couple of years, before using stabil, Until I got fresh gas into it in the spring it ran a little rough which I attributed to "sitting". On e I started to use stabil, first start in spring was like the car was started yesterday - I was sold. As stated above, not scientific.

Yes. And I add two cans of 44K in each Ferrari every six months to keep the injectors clean per my tech's recommendation

I use stabil in my F430 during winter storage (about 5 months out of the year). Once I begin to use my car I run through the tank with stabil, add redline SI-1, fill up my tank at my local Shell station, and drive the crap out of her.
