Bullfighter in Hospital - Hit head-on by DUI

Just read this. I've exchanged emails with Jon over the last 4 years, and this comes as a real shocker. My hopes and prayers go out to Jon, his girl friend, and the rest of his family.

 

Jon and I met briefly when his 328 got platinum at Concorso Italiano a few years ago. But he feels like family from years of FChat. I really hope they both come out of this ok. I'm sure at best it will be a rough year or two.

This sucks.

 

What terrible news. My thoughts are also with Jon and his girlfriend for a speedy and full recovery.

How awful! I only know of him through his posts; hoping and praying they'll recover... That was one gorgeous speedster.

Speedy recovery Jon. I've had two encounter's with wrong-way drivers on freeways. Both at night. Not funny. I called them in both times 911.

 

Prayers to Jon, his girlfriend, and their families. Hoping for positive news and speedy recoveries. While I don't know him personally, reading his posts over the years makes it seem like he's a neighbor & friend.

 

Hope that Jon and his girlfriend get the best treatment and fully recover.

Things like this suck.

Amazing how the Ferrari thing and the internet make you friends with people you've never met. Never met the guy but reading his posts over the years made you want to meet him.

Agree with all of the previous posts; I know him only as Bullfighter, but he has always been both a valuable source of info for many of us here (especially us newbies), and a gentleman. I hope for his (and his girlfriend's) full recovery.
