You guys were lucky! Took me over a year, and I'd guess $2500 to make perfect and fully functional.
Based on the number of cars I see for sale with incorrect radios, I'm surprised others perceive these as overpriced. In particular, the microphone, mic bracket, and tuner bracket are very scarce. And in several years of ebay searching, I've never seen these sold with the correct surround, which costs 80 euro from DE radio. Nevertheless, to your point, here is another, this time stateside, a bit cheaper.

Publish in a French magazine, the story of the car from the fourth owner
Karajan did 3000km with the car
    The second owner 3000km
The third, also 3000km and sold it to a friend.
This friend modified the car with a 3.3 kit, given 340ch, ( just after Porsche launched the 3.3). he reported a ratio geabox change to make the car more drivable on road and circuit ( top speed 220/230km/h).
The owner discovered the weight of the cast iron bumper support and replace it with aluminium support with RS bumper, gaining 60kg.
    He keep it until 1995.

What I don't know is the difference between RS body strucure and a common first 3.0. I don't either know wether the panels ( fenders, doors) where the same. The owner speak abour RS interior and tell us abour a weight of 1100kg before removing the bumper. It means only 30kg difference with 1130 kg of normal car so I can forget aluminium body parts or other costly modifications. For sur the car was not built to race Targa Florio but on the other way 1100kg is still light for such car. Considering 30kg added for the turbo system, few delete of details, we are not far from a standard RS ( not ligtweigted) but with 50HP more. Considering those facts, either we all have RS turbo , either none are RS.

The owner also speak about a letter where the Comte Rossi ( Martini owner ) ask Porsche to paint the car with Martini colors.

The early photo from the Porsche archives shows the car at the factory with special Martini paint and equipped with optional Pirelli P7s. The flares look like standard 930 and not RS 3.0.

Karajan must have put very few miles on the car if he sold it at 3000 km since he did have it long enough to change the '75 manual mirror with an electric flag mirror sometime post-1976. The photo with the electric mirror also shows the standard rear flare with Pirelli P7s still fitted. A better image of the Porsche press release section below.

Roll cage, rear seats delete and driver racing seat at least.
Rear wiper was also delete on a later photo.
    Few things to gain kg.

Anyway nice story and a very 70's look. For the comments, i take it with care.

I remember a period paper (74/75) where they presented the new 930 as RS turbo. Normal considering one replace the other.

    Today i had a look at a 75' reg. 930.
Very happy to find one in the end,i tought.
2 owner car,the last owner owned the car for 30 years
The original 75 book came whit the car,it was sold invoice wise late 75 in Germany.
It had the service stamps starting from 75 also.
First issue i noticed was the airco, which i never seen before on a 75'
Further looking in to the vin etc it was a 9306700xx and engine vin 676000xx.
So actualy a 76,did anybody encounter this situation before?

    Original service book 75 Turbo,stamped from 75.
But model 76 based on vin/engine codes and further details like mirror, airco etc.
My gues is that this car was sold later 75,and client was suplied whit model 76?

And a weight of 1148kg with equipment added for the race. This weight is tested before the race, so with oil and fuel. We don't know what fuel quantity was on board.

Very interesting to see the Lamborghini Islero listed…1443 kg weight. It was also prepared to compete in the production GT-class, GT-x, for the 1975 Le Mans. It was discovered in a barn in 2008 so perhaps Porsche #20, 1975 Le Mans GTx-class winner wil also be discovered someday.
