    +1

"This is why we watch......" ;)

It seems they've got something trick going on with the clutch control. Hopefully they can repeat the Aus start - That was pretty impressive. Staying ahead is a different story, but fingers crossed.

    Cheers,
    Ian
PS - Thanks for the tire list, Speedy, interesting minutiae..... ;)

    Agreed on both points.

'Cept I'd add Seb to the mix.....

Fer sure, Haas is off to a good start. As Bas noted after Aus, "well done, very well done." And their qualy pace here was very, very good too. Impressed.

    Cheers,
    Ian

Still jet lagged from returning from SE Asia, so I am up and ready to watch live.

I am rooting for Ferrari and Haas - even though I am Mercedes heavy in the F1 Fantasy league... :D

    Happy Sunday.

Return to old qualy not on the table according to Toto Wolff and also he is asking Daimler Benz for help with the F1 teams' clutches. This just on SKY with Ted.

Hoping for another cracking start and then just see what happens. The pace of the MB will probably be to much unless something happens. In a perfect world they'd take each other out on lap 4 and really make it sporting. :)

+1 no shock. The Teams vs Management. Winner will not be the teams!

In a interview with Lee McKenzie on channel 4, Sebastian Vettel has stated that he wants F1 to become more about the driver than the technology, and that he wants F1 to become louder, rougher, more raw with drivers able to battle wheel to wheel without one driver having a big car advantage over the other.

He stated that the sport has become far too expensive for what it is and it isn't really benefiting the drivers or the fans.

When suggested that after he retires from driving he could be the next Bernie Ecclestone, he said that he would love to do it due to his love of the sport, but stated that the business side of things and all of the politics that you have to deal with has no interest for him at all.

He then said he does have a plan for what he wants to do after F1, but that's for him to know only.
