True! I bet that was a very fun project. Not really my thing, but it's very cool nonetheless.

It was a very cool thing to see come together.

I would get the entire hood done and not just the front part. The line of where the film starts and stops is just too noticeable. I have a couple of cars with the partial hood bra and most recently got a new car and went with the entire hood. So much better.

It does look good. Going by memory I think its been redone, new leather, paint, etc.

There is a company that makes a kit to drop in 5.0l V8's from the Mustang fox body era.

Actually been thinking I really like the E30's. I might get an IX and a convertible. The other BMW I was impressed with in the mid eighties era was the M6. All these are hard to find in good condition with low miles.

Hey-ohhhh! I'm so happy this is a section here. BMW lifer here, I've owned 2 E34's, 4 E30's, an E24, an E10 and an E36. I currently own an E30 as a daily and an E36 M3 in the garage until it's sold. The E30 is an '87 325iS that's Alpine 1 on black, it's running a Miller PSIK, WAR chip, high flow cats and stock everything else. Just bought a complete S52 and tranny that will be getting swapped in in the following months and then the real fun begins. It'll get get the full Bilstein/HR suspension refresh, AP Racing rotors, PFC 08 pads, Z3 rack, Compomotive TH1781's wrapped in Dunlop Direzza D2's, 225/40r17 and whatever else happens in that time. As far as the E36 M3, it's an auto which makes me sad, but it's Byzanz/Champagne and turns heads everywhere and has won 2 local show awards. It is currently up for sale, I'm asking 9.5k for it and you can PM me if you're interested!

Could be interesting, I kind of want a manual though. More fun to drive. If I get one, it will be mainly for skiing. Be a Whistler trip cruiser. The built in ski bag, plus the all wheel drive makes it the ultimate ski machine! There is actually a few 325ix's in Canada. Budget rental car was a big buyer here. They had a ski weekend package deal with one of the hotels and airlines. You got airfare to Vancouver, an 325ix for the weekend, plus hotel in Whistler. Still a rare car, but you see a few for sale here over the year.

Beautiful E36! I'd be interested if it was a 3-pedal.
