Just dumped our '11 550i xDrive and purchased a '15 550i xDrive. The '11 was full of problems constantly! BMWNA gave me $3k towards the new car. Such a different car, the power band, the apps, the leather. Couldn't be happier. Its the wife car so gotta keep her happy and out of the shop. Love the Ivory interior, looks very different in person. New car is fully loaded. Traded that years ago for the 360. Just happens when I joined here I had the E60, so I went with that name. I also had a E39 M5 as well.
Only replaced the Vanos under warranty, I had the 28th E60 M5 and the early ones all had failures from the Vanos. I sure didn't trust the SMG!
2003 E39 M5 (owned since 2005) 2012 750Li M Sport with almost every option (daily driver) 2015 X5 (wife's daily driver) The E39 M5 is still one of my favorite cars of all time to just drive and enjoy.
Met the owner of this sweet '97 blue E39 540i today while gittin the E60 525i washed. Sorry but the hat is NOT an option. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The lights, hi and low, work fine its just the lens that is clouded and it is on the inside. Thanks a lot you gave me ANOTHER project, are you happy now? j/k PS, I am seldom out after sunset so it is a case of "Out of sight, out of mind" which is no excuse I know.
texasmr2, I see your E60 and raise you my DD outside Gilroy, CA, yes, the plate says "I1" car is a nice sleeper, there are so many, and it blends right in. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Correct Tim these cars blend right in which is nice for a DD. My 2.5ltr will move on out if she is asked and still get 30+mpg. I want just a tad more "giddyup" so I am ordering one of these and she is "wet" not "dry". I will have a local shop/NX dealer do the install (warranty). Might have to fill the tank with race gas for that added octane safety net. PS, This particular kit is 2004 BMW 525i specific so that added safety is good to know but certainly is not a "wax on, wax off" mod. PROTON PLUS NITROUS SYSTEM W/ 10LB BOTTLE
This would be a fun toy 1990 BMW M E30 Coupe $109,900.00 USD for $109,900 in CALGARY | autoTRADER.ca you wouldn't see many even around LA these days.
Prices are all over the map on them seen as low as mid $40k to over $100k. The convertible version made in 90 or 1 are over $100k cars now.
I get great economy, nearly 30 on long trips on cruise. I have the front intercooler with all the plumbing, dual cone intake and a slightly free'r flowing exhaust that sounds stock. Alex Roy said exhaust is the worst mod and is the first to get you introduced to the cops. Then I did the Cobb tune. It pulls well to 120 and then a real steady climb to 170mph. Helluva car for speed over distance. I may do downpipes. But the X6M is calling my name this year.
Last year when I and my dad and Aunt Pat (his sister) drove to Cross Plains I calculated my mileage afterwards and I averaged 35-38 mpg, I was impressed. The X6M is a friggin beast!!
Just hit 200,000 miles last Saturday on the sport short E38. She's never looked better Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Its E39 M5 counterpart (309 miles from new): Pre-Owned E39 M5 for sale for sale at Enthusiast Auto Anyone have any idea what the asking price is/ought to be for this last new E39 M5?
Nice. I'm sure they'll want a premium. In BMW I tend to look at late 80's to early 90's era cars. Not up on the prices of later stuff.
That dealer has something interesting Pre-Owned E28 M5 for sale for sale at Enthusiast Auto Only thing I don't like about it is the original selling dealer and they also sold it used. The dealer Brian Jessel was busted for rolling back odometers in the late 1980's.
