Looking for a Red / Black f430...and not finding too many. If i got red/tan would it kill re-sale if i got the interior leather professionally dyed to black?

Probably. I would do it anyway if it's what you really want and not worry about it though.

See if you can find a wrecked one with a black interior and swap them out. Save the beige. Check with Exotic Recycling in Rancho Cordova, CA and Eurospares in the UK.

Yup, makes it where you do not care what color they are. Dyeing is bad, too.

Black is my colour of choice also. Why not trade with someone who has black. For some odd reason tan is the preferred colour so a trade should be easy

So many cars for sale, only takes a few weeks to a few months for "THE" car to become available. Why beat your head against the wall, spend time, money and kill your resale value when its time to sell? A little patience will bring you your dream car in factory condition, at the right price. You will be glad you did not compromise IMHO.

I did it with Leatherique water base color sanded and cleaned it the way they suggested. then used leather conditioner Leatherique one day before the color. it was really close to match and did a good job. the hair line cracks are hidden but they still there but that you would expect anyway. If i did not tell you you would not tell. The most anal person i know is myself and it is good enough. nothing is prefect including a Ferrari,

+1 (well, "dyeing" (dying is pretty permanent ;) ), rarely works when a color change is involved).

I'm with Hugh G. Rection: I think dying in the car would adversely affect resale. Not sure I'd want to sit in a seat where a corpse once was. Just my two cents.
