Can you identify what Part # 26 in this is for? (interior rubber part by mirror)

Those are the rubber pins which hold your mouse-driven seatbelts when you're exiting or entering the car.

 

FWIW, it is part number: 62744000 HOOK - Ricambi America, Inc.

And yeah, it is bonkers.

 

thanks for that information, I have been trying to figure out what those were for 3 months! Initially I even thought it was some kind of after market radar detector mount, but when I saw the same thing in other cars I figured they were supposed to be there, but I had no idea what for.

 

When I had my 348, I tried to use those clips once -- and it was really awkward. In the end, I disconnected the mouse (white connector under the seats) and simply buckled up manually each time with the lap and shoulder belts.

 

10 points off for you from the Concours judges for having an inoperative passive restraint system!
