Thanks Camlet! I think I speak for everyone when I say it would be awesome if you could share a few pics of your collection (preferably all together).

Wow - amazing and feeling envious. I don't have two Ferraris (just one), but I have 2 Jags (an E-Type and a XJS V12).

Here are my 2 red cars:

Wow. Thank you! Maybe a stupid question, but what is more fun to drive out of the F40, F50, and 599 GTO?

Not sure wow, looking at them like that makes my head spin. They're like one's children, hungry demanding children too :) The tdf is incoming later this year.

Your question isn't stupid but my answer probably is. I don't know.

Because the three you mention are so different. I swear I could drive all three back to back, and back to back again and each time I wouldn't be able to pick a favourite. You drive a Merc and one Merc feels like another Merc. Not Ferrari. Yet they unmistakably share the same DNA. That's why my analogy: different children but from definitely the same parents.

The F40 is breathtaking to look at and breathtaking to drive when the boost hits you like a train. No messing around. Off the scale experience.

The F50 is a seductress, utterly beautiful up close, so sweet to drive, demanding close attention, demanding you take time to explore its amazing capability. Polar opposite to the F40 and better for it.

The 599 GTO is a beast, physical, the presence of an intergalatic battle cruiser from the Empire.

    Useless answers, sorry.

I ended up buying a Diablo after driving several Ferraris at length (2 355s, 430, 2 Scuds).

The 355 and 430 were like scalpels while the Diablo is like a hammer. It handles better than you think it would, but doesn't belong at a track.

The Diablo attracts more attention (for better or worse) than anything I've driven or riden in. I get a kick out of seeing people reacting to it so its fun to people watch.

Great sound, but not the high pitch I associate with Ferraris.

Camlet thank you for that detailed and very useful response! I am in love with the sound of the F50 and the F40 has always been a favorite of mine. Maybe some day.
