Just spotted this for an early LP400 on ebay.de Lamborghini Countach Alpine CM 620 Radio Cassette Oldtimerradio Vintage Knob | eBay
I checked all my ILOC Magazine but wasn't able to find another Picture of this CT. A similar car is on the cover and the first Pages of Jeremy Coulters Book World Supercars 2, but that one was a RHD LP5000s with Vale behind the steering wheel.
Looking at the heraldic features on that particular LP400S (coat of arms on the rear panel and on the dashboard), I really believe this car was repainted to match the historical White & Blue colors of the Duchy of Bavaria. This Countach then certainly used to belong to a Bavaria Duke descendant. If anybody knows/remembers... be sure to tell us more! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Today at the kickoff of another season at Exotics @ Redmond Town Center. Someone grabbed a great shot of my pride and joy. Mike Image Unavailable, Please Login

I know Laurent Nay made a set of luggage for 1120200 to match it's interior color, but as an aside, does anyone know if any Countach was supplied by the works with fitted luggage? Image Unavailable, Please Login
i have seen a set of countach luggage at Max Bobnar auction in 2005 not sure factory or Bobnar made them
Does anybody know where the golden bullet-shape side mirrors mounted on Wolf's #1120202 and #1121002 come from? These are not the usual Vitaloni Sebring's. I've never seen them on any other car. Ever. Any help would be much appreciated! Not only looking for information... also buying! Fabulous Wolf Countach images! Thanks for sharing. BTW perhaps those mirrors were inspired by the ones he had affixed to his Ford GT40 - which he owned before he got into Lamborghinis.
There's much more to discover by questioning the known stories than searching for a brand-new one. Those period photos were believed to be of LP400 #1120020 when first imported into the USA by Joe Nastasi; and the others of LP400S #1121014 at Bob Wallace Cars, July 1980. Well, after further research on the matter, I really think these are more likely to be all of LP400 #1120004. People and location may not change... only the subject-car on the photos does. And the stories of #1120020 being imported into the USA in 1974 (even though it eventually failed) and of #1121014 receiving some modification at Bob Wallace Cars in the late-70s or early-80s are STILL TRUE. I'm only pointing out that the photos are of another Countach with oddly-similar events. #1120004 seems to have a very unique detail: The water spray nozzles position, outermost compared with ANY OTHER LP400 or LP400S (or probably any other Countach, simply). I could check this particular detail on more than 135 different LP400 and on more than 80 different low-body LP400S... and still searching... This difference could be explained by the car being the 2nd production Countach ever built, at that time when development was (even more) empirical. Be sure to let me know what you think. Those pics are helpful, thank you Victor. I'm getting my car detailed to an extreme level, and I want to make sure I have all the metal plates on the bottom looking correct. I'm pretty sure I have all of them, but it would help to have a reference pic of a car that is correct underneath. I'm referring to the plates that are riveted under the car to the tube frame. That picture of the Countach sideways in the air is far out. Is that from the guy who hung one on his wall?
You're welcome, Elvis. I sent you a private message. And yes, the Countach in the air is indeed the black S-fitted LP400 now hung on the wall in a Californian mansion. not sure whether these videos have been posted yet: Italian Happening 1987 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DJqQ97RNH8 Mom Driving the Lamborghini Countach in 1987 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLpjdvoskIo Lambo Mom Doing the Dishes in 1989 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9FwpCvkOtE
Really cool! Thanks for the links. Interesting Countach S at 01:58 of the first video! Reminds me of LP400 #1120134 that got its front spoiler removed for convenience reason + the Rarewala front wing/bumper here. Could be #1121248 or 1121250 that I'm still looking for... Actually, it will be much harder to remove it, than it was to put it down there... from that long but narrow roof window... only! To put a Countach on your wall is something questionable in the first place. But to each his own, I suppose. The crazy thing is: out of 2000+ Countach built, it had to fall on a very rare early 1975 LP400... and even more than that, one of the very few retrofitted LP400 "S" still alive! (or dead, in that case... since the broken engine is now used as a coffee table) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
