The "Reverse" button on my 2010 California us very sticky/ gooey. Earlier, I heard that someone was thinking of making a carbon fiber look set of replacement buttons. Any update? Alternatively, does anyone know of a good way to clean them?

Mine did this - particularly in hot weather. It was most embarrassing that I couldn't reverse in some situations.
I put a hat over it whilst it was parked, this seemed to help, until I had it changed for a new one.

There is an ad that comes up occasionally above that deals with that problem.

Hello, you may have a few potential issues:

    1) just a sticky button

    2) coating peeling

    3) all the above with a torn button

We have a customer with #3 on a 599 and we are looking into molding new buttons.

Drop me an email and I can fill you in.

    Thanks.

If you do, let me know. My Maserati needs one and I believe it's the same part
