Camlet, have you thought about doing a pin strpe/outline of the FRB stripe in a darker metallic silver? I think that would look very good.
Cool thought. At risk of using the h-word I based the scheme on the historic 1961 250 SWB Le Mans #14. My scheme isn't a facsimile but the stripe is deliberately very similar.
