That's my point. I am not anti stripe, I just don't like the lateral stripe.

Camlet, have you thought about doing a pin strpe/outline of the FRB stripe in a darker metallic silver? I think that would look very good.

Cool thought. At risk of using the h-word ;) I based the scheme on the historic 1961 250 SWB Le Mans #14. My scheme isn't a facsimile but the stripe is deliberately very similar.

I particulary agree with you on the last sentence.

I may sound stupid but what is FRB ? French Republic Blu ? ahah

What about your interior ? Blu Scuro ?

Certainly suits the Tour de France nature of the car. Should have ordered a custom chateau style carbon fibre wine bottle holder as well:). Probably would be in the six figures based on the cup holder option...

Can't wait to see this combo once it lands in your hands - such a classic and stylish combination of colours and materials.

These companies do this for the PR value... I don't care for it either. To my eyes its like someone grafted a Nissan GTR on to the F12b... I'll take the extra power though :)

+1. Romo there is apparently a photo of a FXX-K painted in triple layer blue on the FXX-K thread. What about that color for your TDF?

I'm fairly sure that the blue FXX-K is Blu Electricco.
