In most markets you'd jump at getting your original price back on a used car. While smaller numbers were made than the standard coupe, there are still a lot of them out there. I'd take the $335 and move on.

^ When there's no demand.. Prices go down.. Vice versa.. Do we need to take Econ 101 again.. bid/ask aka supply demand?? No one cares about the speciale right now. There's the 488 at the moment

Dealers are flipping these for a second and third time between 50-60 over MSRP...TOTAL INSANITY...Have a 3000 mile Scuderia and they want my car and 200k...Seriously...
got a call on a 250 mile Aperta with a 371k MSRP for the bargain price of $650k...Apparently
they'll always be a handful of people in the world who'll keep the merry go round going...
When the 488 version comes out Speciale suicide rates will rise

Put it on eBay with BIN at the price you think is fair and see if anyone bites. If no one exercises the BIN, then the price is too high.

Dealers have a premium on these still, but sounds like none are moving at these prices of you can even catch a bid above sticker.

I'd be glad to buy an exotic and sell at sticker.

Just checked eBay. Scottsdale Ferrari has a 380k msrp car asking 389k or best offer.

That's proof there is no premium anymore (though selling a 2014 speciale at sticker is still a premium of you all me.)

Sell now or sell for less later imo

I'm watching this market closely...I see ridiculous prices and cars not moving.
Maybe in 12 months I'll pull the trigger...

A mid msrp stripe car ($325 -340k) in red or white with sub 2k miles will still retail at Ferrari dealers all day long at 50-75k over MSRP.

No Speciale owner will sell for less than MSRP on a low mileage car. Asking price vs. a low offer sounds like dealers looking for cars wholesale. Speciale is still a low production car and NA engine still sells as a last of the best engines. The Speciale exhaust sound wide open is sweet to those of us that believe Ferrari's by nature should sound like race cars.

I think wholesale offers from dealers today will range between 25 under MSRP to MSRP. I think if its a low mile car and list it on EBAY w/ buy it now at MSRP it will sell. Possibly even a dealer/broker would still pay that high if they have somebody for it.
    good luck

Dream on. Turbos suck. I have a standing offer for mine at $370K (I paid MSRP of 359K). Not taking it. The Speciale may in the short term (next two - three years) take a hit down to around 299K but trust me it will be a 400K car within 5 years IF you can
get someone to let go of theres (see Challenge Stradale for details).

The 488 iteration will be the largest depreciation car seen in 30 years. One look at that teeny tiny motor under the glass is all I needed.

As the 458 resales affecting prices of the Speciale that is a ridiculous argument Mayor.

Don't think so? How is the 430 doing against the Scud? How is the 360 doing against the CS?

Amazing how different the markets are. In the UK, a premium of £100k+

CS and Scud will never reach their MSRP, the same will happen with the Speciale. The 488 GTB pushes the 458 Italia price down, the 488 Scuderia will do the same with the Speciale.

And I guess Mayor is right. The difference between an Italia and a Speciale is marginal in comparison to the difference of a Scuderia to a F430 or a CS to a Modena.

LOL you haven't been watching CS prices have you. They are trading at MSRP PLUS 50,000!

The Scud will be there in a couple of more years. The 16M already is at MSRP.

I have owned both the 430 and the SCUD, the 360 and the CS. The difference shown between those models is approximately the same as the difference between the 458 and the Speciale.

Mayor is dead wrong if he thinks there is not a lot of difference between the 458 and the Speciale. But then again these are all opinions right? ;)

So help me out- should I buy a 488 or purchase a speciale? Seem it's about the same price. 488 will lose value, but speciale will not depreciate as much. Then other than "newer" and you can spec the car, why not go with a used speciale?

My CS had a MSRP of $190k and the market for mine is roughy $250k plus if not more (judged twice as a 100 point car)

    So....I don't understand your math.

The question is what you want from it. Turbo, new and soft or NA, race oriented and hard.

How is it a dream? The asking price at an actual Ferrari dealer is only 9k above sticker, yet is still for sale and a very nice looking car.

Go to Scottsdale Ferrari and you can literally buy it right now. Leave the same day with it. And you can surely negotiate a little off too.
