Newbie Ques - What are the Subscribed Private Forums conversations like?

Hey all,

As the title states - I am curious about the Private Subscribed forums. What is it all about? I do see the listing capabilities but what exactly is Rossa and Silver forums etc. And are all those specific forum groups ultra active.

As you can see, I'm 'silver' subscribed. Yes, the silver forum is very, very active. All kinds of (sometimes bizarre!) questions get good, solid answers. And some truly interesting debates too.

Well worth it IMO.

Can't comment on 'Rossa'. I'm just a poor bloke!

I was Silver subscribed for quite a few years, then moved to Rossa subscribed 3 years ago when I finally got my 308.

Honestly, the threads are mostly social, not much car talk in those sections. They are often fun to read, and perhaps subscribed members are a little more open in those sections since those don't get searched by Google etc.

However, I didn't subscribe for those sections - I subscribed to support the forum, especially when I became a Ferrari owner. This site has been invaluable for me, I wouldn't have been able to take on nearly the amount of DIY maintenance projects that I've done without this forum. Subscribing is a way to acknowledge and support the forums.

 

Only way to know for sure is to pay up.

 

Well, no one has yet mentioned the annual 24 hours use of Rob's fchat F50, nor the gallery of the worlds most beautiful Ferrari owners, naked. Worth the subs on their own

 

Are you indeed making an argument for this section or rather against?

That doesn't sound quite right to me!.... I think you mean "members with the hottest wives & G/F's", not the inverse!.....

Look what I subscribed to. I wanted to go all out and go for Rossa but one step at a time. Will probably upgrade later during the year. But now I am going to enjoy the Silver fully.

All these incremental steps will eventually lead me to owning a F12 and maybe California T.

It's a crap shoot. Not really , it's worth the 50 $. Similar to the VIP room at the strip club

I recently upgraded to Rossa. I would tell you more but I had take this weird oath and then they mailed me a dead sea otter. It just got really strange after that....

 

Don't forget about the Rossa F40. Speaking of which, I think it's my turn again this weekend.

 

Lol - I was debating which one to go for (had to coin toss 3 times - heads - Silver / Tails - Rossa). I got 2 Silver and 1 Rossa.

Going to enjoy Silver for now and once I get a good feel about my way around this forum - Rossa it is. I am curious about that section. Jumps from $15 to $50. Have to see it.

Silver is totally worth it. Great discussions on business where you can bounce your ideas off some very sharp folks. Fun political discussions (although overwhelmingly to one side of the political spectrum). Good humor, good fun, and very valuable information.

I don't know what's in the Rossa section. Very curious though!

 

We just talk about everyone behind their backs in Rossa.

I can totally tell the Silver forums is quite crazy like the zoo. Lots of amusing threads in there

 

If you do a rossa subscription, can you only see the rossa part or can you access everything including the silver part ?

 

Rossa subs equals everything except the owners section. You can join that too, provided you can find other members to vouch for ownership of a Ferrari. That's a problem in the UK as certainly, there is no one else admitting to being close enough to me to vouch (that may be because they hate me though!)
