Is 0071 a restored car? I ask only because I saw, a few year ago, a similar car at Road America owned I think by Dr Steven Dudley. It was an unrestored car, battle scars, lots of patina on the paint work, but up to snuff underneath as it was racing in the Shell Ferrari Challenge. I think a 166MM maybe? Anyone know? And if still owned by Dr Dudley , is he the eye Dr in Wisconsin? Perry
Dear Perry, The car is in the exact condition that you described. It is still with loooots of patina, unrestored, but very well presented. It is a beautiful car. It is a 166 Inter Vignale Coupé increased to 195, so 166/195. It had history here in Argentina, with Charly Menditeguy at the wheel during the 50s. Since 2008 is in argentinian´s hands again, and living here in Buenos Aires. Attached 2 photos taken last year showing it better from last year. PS. I´m sorry, idk how to rotate the photos. 0071S is incredible. In-cre-di-ble. I hope they never restore it. I've said this before - Argentina is so close, I need to do a car-focused trip down there...
+1 Incidentally I believe Petrolicious have a film about a 365GT 2+2 in Peru coming up in the next few months.
Looks like the interior has already been restored. when the car was with Stephen Dudley the interior was white and in far worse condition. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Indeed. Well, at some point unrestored becomes unusable then it's no fun. I hope they at least keep the exterior as is.
the interior needed to be prepped for the trash collector to haul it off... hopefully it will not be rejected this time :=)... trash dumps and collectors are held to a higher environmental standard
0044M just out for a drive in California and 0728TR out for a drive in the UK. Totally different, both completely wonderful. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
