It’s $2900 per driving participant, which includes a weekend pass for the races. A guest can attend (observe) with the purchase of a weekend VIP pass.

    Yes.

Boardwalk and FoH send out the invitation e-mails to their respective clientele list. Contained therein is a link to a website for purchase information; however, that is a dead link. The correct website is in post number six of this thread.

Did you buy your car from them or have you had any service work performed by them?

I suspect dealerships send e-mail invitations based on their internal client database.

Those two pale in comparison to the service bill or the window sticker, which is why I specifically asked him about servicing a car or buying a car from the dealership. ;)

I'm considering as well, what is the best way to protect the front against chips and debris on the road trip ?

I do all my service there. I am also a member of the Ferrari club. The dealership does a great job keeping the members updated on fun upcoming events.

According to the preliminary schedule, the first event is at 9:35 so we plan to arrive by 9AM.

I have not yet driven to COTA, but I’m guessing it is a two-hour-fifteen-minute drive from Katy. I’ll be leaving at 6:45 from the gas station (can't think of their name) at the southeast corner of Katy Fort Bend Road and I-10.

    Xpel or SunTek clearbra film.

Attached is an updated schedule of events for next weekend’s Ferrari Challenge at COTA. The specific changes are the clarification of Touring class and Sport class, for the driving laps.

Touring … this is a lead-follow format, at moderate speeds. The intention is for the lead car (being driven by somebody who knows the track) to show the next car the correct line. Passengers in your car are allowed.

Sport … this is a hands-off format, at whatever speed you are comfortable. Passing is allowed but passengers aren’t. Regardless of your skill level, there will be a mandatory driver’s meeting that precedes this session.

I have been in touch with my FoH contact, who has been in touch with their FNA contact, to provide some clarity about these two sessions. Below is an excerpt of that communiqué.

    1. Is it two lapping sessions for a one-day pass or is it required to purchase the weekend pass to have two lapping sessions?

    • Two sessions per day. So they could participate in two sessions on Saturday.

    2. If it is two lapping sessions, can he sign up for the touring and the sport? He wants to take his wife as a passenger in the touring course and take the sport course by himself.

    • Yes he could do that as long as he has some track experience to run in the sport session.

    3. Do you offer helmet rentals for drivers and/or passengers that do not have a helmet or do they need to provide their own?

    • Yes we offer helmets. They pick them up in the staging area fifteen minutes before the start of their lapping session.

Do you know if there are any "preferred hotels" in Austin that the Ferrari Challenge race teams are staying at?

I might be staying Saturday night. Which hotel is the DFW gang staying at?
