    I can not do powerslide turns with tdf.. It just spins out under power.. Maybe rear steer or too sticky tire or both... Something tells me when I loose this it will not return? Can't wait to go to track.... Laser sharph turn in and massive power. Love this car more than any other I owned.

    Nice pics! It seems as though in the first picture that ALL the camera's and eyeballs are on the tdf in lieu of the Martini Racing 918 in the background. Nonetheless, both of the cars are spectacular. :)

    Very nice and basic design, which I personally favour. Assume this is Rosso Scuderia, or?
    Mine is very same configuration and still at dealer but hopefully early May with us ... ;-)

    Simply a consistent design feature like the Scud had and later the carbon between the tail lights on the 458 to. It also makes the rear of the car appear wider...

    On 355 Challenge/360CS/Scuderia and the Speciale they where grilles, aiding in cooling of the engine.

    This is a carbon strip. Not seen one without a stripe, but I'd be quite tempted to order with it in body colour I think.

    Try it in Photoshop and you might think again. As I have posted before it is a very effective manner to visually reduce the height of the rear panel.

    They could have avoided the vertical/arch theme on the exhaust boxes, vents and plate areas, going for a visually horizontal theme top to bottom.

    Not seen it without unfortunately, so can't accurately comment on what looks better.

    I got used to the stripe very quickly, it certainly isn't off putting.

    It's all very well us armchair designers picking out small areas we would have done differently and we believe better. I totally withdrew when I saw the car in the flesh as a stunning totally cohesive design, contentious exhaust boxes, carbon strips etc included.

    Closest alternative in design is the Novitec Rosso n largo s rear as they went pretty horizontal while keeping the standard f12 shape. It creates clutter and I can see why Ferrari went with what they have on the tdf rear.

    Yes that is my experience as well. This car needs extremely exact small steering inputs and wants to be driven neatly. Then it is extremely fast. If you try the fast and furious driving style it will end in tears. I just love the way it reacts to the smallest steering input. Mind blowing.
