Is there any information out there on the F12M? Is Ferrari actually going to produce this variant?

    It's not a variant.......it's the replacement.

Interesting how even my dealer cannot confirm this. He thinks it will be a twin turbo V10. How crazy is that ?

Is this going to be a completely new car? New engine, new body design or just improvements to the F12 that we know today?

Lots of speculation and discussion in the previous threads on this topic. Don't need another thread. Let's let this one die.

Someone knows- maybe just not here!

My speculation is let the FF->GTC4 Lusso be your guide. Further speculation is- they have quite a track record of making each car desirable. I bet this one will continue the trend. Even without knowing the details, I have faith that it will be fantastic!

You must have walked into a Lambo dealer.

If my Ferrari dealer was telling me things like that, he must be so out of touch with the factory that I would not buy anything from him.

He's probably thinking the F12 replacement...not the M. Ferrari's V12 NA GT cars are coming to an end unless emission regs change.

Ferrari will not build a V10 GT car.

I agree that a V10 is not likely to be the engine in the replacement F12.

Look to the Lusso instead. A NA 12 with intake tuning, vario-CAM and maybe some other valve tricks seen in the TDF.

The dimensions of the replacement might be a tad more compact and combined with the newest virtual wheelbase rear wheel steering tech.

Perhaps the replacement will be a bit lighter too.

    IMO no turbo yet.

    But probably later

    Lol. +1

Is there no way the mods can marry this to all the other threads about the M where we reckon we gave a good idea of what to expect without repeating it all again??

I don't keep up with emission codes anywhere, for where is this regulation?

Design wise I expect same type of very small visual transition we saw on 458 and FF successors.

4L V12 + small electric motor sounds fine to me.

The next generation of V12 will be a larger displacement, naturally aspirated V12 (6,5 litre)

Look for an initial 800 BHP. The lifeline of the engine will certainly be about the same as the current 6.3.

As to your turbo, not for the time being.

The adjunction of electric motors will come in a couple of years - probably first on a V8.
