Drove the scuderia last Sunday morning, everything was fine at first. I was driving the car normally on race mode, saw an open road... WOT on 3rd gear, when I was about to up shift to 4th suddenly it over revved and went back to Neutral! So I tried to down shift and jumped to 6th gear. Happened 3 times that morning, dealer said it might be the f1 pump and accumulator... Anyone had this same problem? Now I drove the car again and it didn't happen anymore, back to normal shifting. Hmmm

Btw the dealer said I still have 70% clutch life... At first I was thinking about that. I thought I had clutch sliding issues.

Once in neutral at speed, the next gear selected by the TCU will best match the rom and speed so 6th makes sense.

I have experienced this in the Challenge car and heard of others describing the same. In those instances, it was from a quick "flick" on the paddle instead of a deliberate pull.

Do you give the paddles a pull and not a flick?

Otherwise, I think the suggestion to have it checked out with a SD3 at the dealer would be wise. Doesn't sound like a slipping clutch to me. Just a gear engagement issue.

Keep us posted on what you find out.

I remember my car jammed between 2nd and 3th one time during driving on an open road and after going to neutral and selecting a gear again, everything was fine. A year and a half later - I have never experienced that problem again and it works fine. As we all know the Scud's gearbox is one of strengths, when it comes to performance, but also one of its weaknesses, when it comes to durability, so maybe it is normal such weird things to happen with it from time to time :)

Makes sense!! Actually I kinda gave the paddle just a flick than a pull. Got used to the modern Porsche's PDK lever... Lol

Tried out the scud for 2 days in normal and hard driving, everything was fine and normal.. Will try it out again next week!
