Same here! But when this is what makes us cranky, its a sign life is pretty darn good! I missed the shots of the dark grey car before. That car looks beautiful! Very nice! I have to agree it looks a lot like the Maserati color. CdF would have a little more brown in it. But of course these are photos that can be edited and also colors often look different on different shapes. Either way, thats a beauty. The TDF is a great great looking car!
Thank you !! sometimes I ask myself if I'm not debating with ray charles ! That tdf id Grigio Granito or at least Cdf. Period.
Thanks for the kind words. I really enjoy the pictures and one day hopefully I'll get to see a real one!
I suppose it won't be long until one or two become available as long as you are ready to cough up +400k USD mark up. The car is so beautiful and rare, it might be worth it.
I think it could well be Granito as I saw the identical car sitting by the line in the factory 10 weeks or so ago. I checked the colour on the spec sheet. One thing is for sure, not Silverstone or Ferro, no way, ever.
Thanks Tim. Seriously. I know the colors, I'm passionate about ferrari, and I don't open my mouth before carefuly watching a picture. I personnaly think that's granito. SV california & Garreto You should learn your colors better before saying enormities like Silvertone or even worth, Ferro/ Dcmetro doesn't joke with grey Ferrari paints.
My F12 is CDF and as said is darker with more a bronze tint than the TDF 😀 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I agree, I have had a 575 and 458 in CDF and the last photos for me could have been CDF, as you can just see a little bronze maybe. Are we not all a little bit weird ... worrying about paint colours Anyway, here is my ex 575 CDF for sale (please don't ask what I sold it for.. anyway £300k for a manual 575 is plain bonkers in my real world... makes an F12 (used) for £220 ish a 'bargain' if you can say that about such an expensive car. Back to paint, as you can see it is , in certain light a very dark grey. Image Unavailable, Please Login
A little taster - pick up next Friday . 50 shades of Blue as someone said to me. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Some of these darker grigio colors are close enough that the combination of an un-color managed browser (Internet Explorer), un-calibrated monitor and a picture file that probably isn't tagged with a color profile will give you unreliable viewing results. There is a good chance the color will look considerably different in reality. If you use Apple Safari, you are better off since the browser is color managed, so if you know the picture is tagged with a color profile, you look at it with Safari AND your monitor is calibrated, only then can you be sure what you see on the computer will be very close to reality. Sorry to bring in photo geek technical stuff.
Here is a portion of the sticker for a TDF going up for auction at Pinehurst, NC Golf Resort concours today at 2:00PM EST. These are a few quick shots from my Dad. I asked him to get it for my b-day at the end of May...LOL Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I can only confirm that the 575 is CDF and that the photo is in line with what it looks like in real life.
I was not being critical of anyone's color matching skills. If it came off that way, I am sorry. Just pointing out the facts we are up against when judging colors on the internet.
Noooo no way, not taken like that , I was appreciating your comment, as today with all the photo filters and such you cannot recognise anything anymore, was just trying to calibrate the one photo and car I know to reality.
Turns out that TDF at Pinehurst Concours from Hendrick Motors was not up for auction. Sorry for the misinformation.
