Ferrari GTC4Lusso - 29 April 2016 - Autogespot
Guys pls note that prototypes of the new F12 M are being tested since more than 6 months already in and around Maranello and they do NOT use a body of an F12 (all camouflaged and hiding), they rather use bodywork from a new GTC4 Lusso to fool the paparazzi. Marcel Massini
Agree on the convertible. That's a winner. Actually all 3 are better than the new car. The 4 door looks more the part with the rectangles and 4s of the 3 door car.
I see no hint or indication at all that this is not a normal (or early) production Lusso with the protective wrapping (certainly not camo) and all. It certainly could be whatever they wanted below that body, assuming the F12M platform is still the same as F12/Lusso. But nothing here really points to mule or prototype IMO.
+1 That's just protective wrapping on a brand new Lusso - Maybe they do the wrapping differently now ?
Good video of the GTC4 Lusso in Japan showing some details of the car. Other than his comments that 'the twin exhausts are new', worth a look. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQvRTWK6mEI
The presenter is by-lined as "CEO of Ferrari Far and Middle East Hub", presumably a very large market for Ferrari. How could such a senior Ferrari manager not know what the (standard twin) exhaust pipes on an FF look like?! By the way, did he imply that the passenger can set some of the driving functions (as opposed to entertainment and other non-critical functionality) independent of the driver? I wouldn't like to see the passenger flick ESC off via a virtual manettino without my say-so.
still not a test drive of this car even an amatorial one... very strange, i am waiting a verdict of how is really the engine sound compared to the FF
Start up sound is the same/similar, the revs sound was not the same but the car was still cold when they hit the gas pedal. Hard to tell. Yes, and yes. I have to think he's new. Bullet points given to him and not really familiar with the cars. Maybe it's better in person than this photo, maybe it's not. This photo has a Chrysler side vibe, plus the Mazda/Lexus rear end. This angle was the supposedly the worst angle of the FF that this car was going to fix.
I love it. Quad taillights and exhausts take it to a different level. More fierce, a bit meaner. Also love the FF, which is classy and elegant. They'd make a fine pair ... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Looks gorgeous. Really captures that kind of classic 60s gt look in a modern day interpretation. I think it deserves the Lusso name as it's probably one of the best looking gts since.
Styling wise, overall I am ambivalent to the Lusso compared to the fF. There are elements (front side creases) of the Lusso that seem improved but they also make it look more generic (i.e. Japanese). I consider the FF to be fine looking and have no urge to part with my 2014. Fortunately the first performance package continues.
