Another option is Carriage House Motor Cars in Greenwich - call Scott. Which car are you looking at?

Did they say they allow PPI at outside places? Not sure if they do, but I've read on here most Ferrari dealers won't allow outside PPI. You may want to confirm?

Also, the 2 biggest things on that car are the top mechanisms and DCT so other than an authorized dealer your options may limited. Good luck.

What'd they say? That place is known to sell top quality cars. I wouldn't worry buying there. If you get it Ferrari Certified and buy some Ferrari warranty you should be good. Maybe have them send you a video of the top opening and closing so you can see if it has any issues. Id also al the condition of the valve cover gaskets as I believe the extended warranty doesn't cover leaks.

The warranty available on that car is a power warranty, it covers only the powertrain. I would skip that unless a 5 figure hit (unlikely as it is) would wreck you finances. Remember Ferrari makes money selling the warranty - less is paid out than is taken in.

Miller is first class. Its pretty easy to get the 30 day used car warranty extended to 60 or 90 days. Ask for an SD readout of clutch remaining and brakes. If you have no trouble with the top in 60 days there is probably nothing a PPI would reveal. Might still break though.

The cars can be expensive and it is nice to have expert eyes look at your purchase. Still, if they miss something you are not going to sue an independent mech for the repair. Anyone still doing PPI's probably has many disclaimers in their agreement - they are not insurance. I can say, after living with a 360 for five years when I look at one now I can see many problems that I would totally miss when I bought mine. They all looked perfect before I owned one.

DCT has no read out don't worry. This guy is talking single clutch unrelated cars, not
California. Also the warranties Ferrari offers now are different. The information is outdated. DCT has no wear rating.
