By the previous pictures posted of the same car, same event, we can read "COLOUR: CORSA RED/ EXTRA". What does that mean? Extra for extracampionario? But rosso corsa is standard... Rosso Corsa metallic? Then shouldn't the price be stated in the options list?

Maybe it's the camera but it looks different to normal corsa. Not metallic and not triple layer. Something like double layer if there us such a thing.

The "Extra" behind the slash refers to the interior, which is "Extracampionario" - meaning non standard...

Oh! Of course! I don't know what was I thinking. Ext/int. I've been using the slash myself for ages...

At Auto Italia Brooklands last Saturday. Up close the stripe IMO was too much for this car, the yellow fighting with the bold dark colours. Obviously a personal thing but the car also had signed carbon engine covers (no carbon for the air boxes which did look odd) and to me the signed covers looked a mess. The diamond wheels were however superb. Very sweet F50 in the background ;)

Not sure why so many people stuck with the black stripe instead of using silver or grey to ease the tension.

The stripe doesn't work as easily on the tdf as on the GTO. GTO stripes are superbe, perfectly integrated in the car shape.

On the tdf I stops at the edge of the hood. That doesn't look good IMO. Your solution Camlet to make it run until the end of the font bumper will probably make it look better.

Anyway, stripes and two tone liveries belong to the 599 body imo. The F12 is more compact, it needs a single colour...

    And yeah, wonderful F50 !

Thanks dc. Bizarrely I chose sans stripe for my GTO, times change. We'll see on my tdf but looking very closely at the yellow tdf I'm still happy with the risk. Thanks for the F50, she had much positive attention, like I said times change :)

Paul it looks 'electrifying' in blue! Stripe is at the bottom of the steering wheel because it is always in oversteer mode??? Thanks for sharing your beautiful tdF spec here.

NO rain on the 6th of May...
