+1 Quilted leather does not belong in a Hardcore Ferrari IMO @Paul Congrats. full alcantara is the only thing you should find in this hardcore ferrari Can I have a picture of the full seats ? I like them a lot !
Exactly what I wanted. Thanks paul, we all imagine your "23 december" feeling ! Enjoy once you get it !
Spectacular! Congratulations!!! OMG. Marcel, car looks really sharp in Verde Inglese. Thanks for sharing. I thought factory was adamant the LE cars have the shields? DC, Really? About the quilting and hard core? http://www.ridelust.com/wp-content/uploads/Ferrari-250-GTO-Interior-lr-500x375.jpg This is just the first one that popped up in the search engine. I've seen quilting on many vintage Ferrari interiors... That said, the question is whether or not you think it works well for a modern Ferrari interior... When helping a friend with his spec, we were thinking about echoing the past cars with the quilting. We decided that for our tastes the modern interior is much larger and it likely wouldn't work as well. In the car above, I need to see the rear shelf area. I think if that is quilted as well I would really like it. Its clear the car's fortunate owner went with an elegant specification and I think it does work. Maybe I would go with a more "hard core" ambience but, I like how it came out here anyway. I say congratulations to him (or her?! ) And the BE... my goodness...
I think both electric blue/alacantra and Verde with leather are stunning and illustrate well the two routes it is possible to take when speccing the TDF Well done to both lucky owners.
I'm crazy about diamond stitching, quilting... it's just so classy, and in my eyes perfectly fits most road cars, particularly those that recall past eras as 599 GTO and F12 tdf. Hardcore not being a problem, just throw in as much alcantara as you'd like.

You are so right. The TDF can go so many design directions. TBH I have yet to see a spec that is poor, that is a testament to the design. What none of the photos do, is give justice to the actual presence of the TDF. Ok, it is not Aventador SV, but it is so damn evident it is a serious machine. It just looks right. The F12m is coming, it will have more bhp, a bigger engine, a lot of TDF technology and the interior from the GTC. So fans of NA monster engines have time to enjoy for many years yet to come. Me, well I am going to soak myself in V12 engine heaven whilst dreams can still come true.
The darker Browns tend to suit verde interiors rather than Cuoio. Cuoio pops too much and your eyes are drawn to it like yellow calipers instead enjoying the lines of the body. Looking forward to seeing more pics of this car especially from a distance in how it all comes together.
I adore that car, I posted a few pictures of it in this thread Nads, you're getting one if my memory is correct... Did you finalize your specs ?
I love quilting ! it works on many cars , even in a modern Ferrari, for exemple the 612 Sessenta had a quilted Iroko or cioccolato interior = Beautiful I just feel that the Modern "Hardcore" ferraris like Scuderia, Speciale, GTO or Tdf need a more "race" oriented interior. Montpellier's interior is perfect. In my opinion.
Marcel, is Verde Inglese a metallic paint (or whatever they call them now)? It appears to be so in the photos posted. I assume it's the same as Verde British on the configerators? I always thought it was a flat colour and that Verde Zeltweg was the dark green metallic. In any case that TDF looks great, I wish it was going to live in England, with me !
Inglese = English. Yes, metallic. It lives in Switzerland. It can be seen on Tuesday, the 31st of May 2016 in Monza, Italy. Marcel Massini
Thanks for the info Marcel. I am in the wrong business! DC, full agreement with you. But to each their own and lets face it, these aren't really race cars anyway, they are hard street cars that pay homage to a tremendous legacy.
Thank you Sir.. This livery is fantastic.. Exactly how I would like to have if I could.. Any more pictures would be fantastic.. Thank you..
