    What makes it a "Challenge helmet"? Was it sold by Ferrari as such?

    I have a genuine Challenge Helmet (Bottom).... (Not for sale). It doesn't quite look like yours. Only used in the Ferrari Challenge Series. Sparco provided these for the series. The helmet is a carbon Aramidic Mix, & top quality. Has Pilota Ferrari with a pic of the Ferrari F1 Steering wheel on the peak, and Prancing Horse on the back.

    I've never seen yours. Hmm. Interesting. Cool regardless.
